Which Color Buzzbait?

Featured Replies

Black or white cavitron with a red blade. I dont really have a reason other than that's what i catch the most fish on

Black with a red blade is the most popular, but I like black on black best.

Black or white skirt. I don't pay much mind to the blade color but some people think it makes all the difference.

At night or in dirty water I like a black bait w/a black coated blade, this will allow fish to see the silhouette of the bait along with keying in on that annoying buzz. During the day or in clear to stained water I like white or white/chartreuse with a gold blade because where I fish the fish key in on large shad as a forage base, so I am trying to mimic a dying shad at the surface, which to the bass is an easy meal.

Chartreuse with a silver blade

Ya know, there's so much contiuous commotion going on with a buzzer, more so than any other topwater I throw, I never gave too much thought into picking just the right color. Night or day.

Then again I don't throw it much either.

Around here any color works as long as it is white.

I like cavitrons. and i have found i don't care about the skirt as much as a I do the bubbles

I have a white one tied on most of the time but really starting to throw black a lot more.

White skirt, silver blade.

White skirt with a silver blade, or a white skirt with a white blade.
