What's your favorite soft plastics? I usually use a light green 6" zoom worm, Texas rigged. I've been trying tube baits for smallish lately and I'm really starting to like them!!

Whichever one is getting bit. If I had a favorite it would be RI sweet beaver in gp.

As long as they catch bass I like all of them.

I'm still hooked on Senko's. 

Too many to mention but here are a few.

 

1. Reaction Innovations sweet and smallie beaver. (black/red, fried watermelon, black light, houdini)

 

2. Reaction Innovations skinny dipper. (bull frog, houdini, and bad shad green)

 

3. Zoom, dead ringers(red/shad, black, watermelon) finesse and magmun finesse(black, houdini, and redbug)

 

Danny Joe Humphries original floating worm(red/shad, catalpa, and white)

Rage Craw, Havoc Pit Boss, Zoom Trick Worm, Zoom Ol' Monster, Zoom Baby Brush Hog, Zman Diesel MinnowZ, Netbait B bug. There's seriously way too many that I like to narrow it down much. 

As mentioned - the choices are almost endless and on any given day several can be anyone's favorite.

 

But to narrow it down, for me - the versatility and ability to consistent get bit makes the SK Rage Craw / Lobster a real fan favorite.  A 10 inch Black Berkley Power Worm comes in at a close second.

 

My wife will tell you that if she absolutely HAD to catch a bass - she'd be throwing a 4 inch *** Trick Stick in the unusual but seriously effective Phantom color.  And I'd be reaching for the net - again.

Have any of you used the Berkeley 4" baby bass? I have it in my tackle box and Ive been wanting to try it out for a while

Favorite?  A ringed Curly tail worm made by a small maker here in Missouri.  I probably have more Havoc Pit Boss than anything, though.  Great baits, work well and are cheap.  Got a ton of senko's, too.

I like almost all soft plastics and often just use whatever tickles my fancy .The two that I have caught the most on are Mann's 6 inch Jelly worms and the old BPS Squirmin Lizard. The old Squimin Lizard I like to use when bites are light because it is shiny and smooth and shows teeth marks well . The Guido bug is another one that shows teeth marks well .

But, if I have to fish with a soft plastic you´ll see me fishing a Zoom Trickworm most of the times.

Anything roboworm. They've quickly become one of my favorites. Followed by 3 and 4 inch swim and regular senkos and fluke Jr's. Lake fork baby shads on a small ball jig are also always on hand.

I've been using Zoom Magnum Speed Worms lately. So versatile. I usually fish them weightless either on top or just let them sink.

Zoom Magnum Trick Worms (8") in Dark Green T-Rigged on offset BPS hooks is a killer

-Senkos.

-Regular old grubs on a plain jig head.

-Creme Scoundrel and Angle worms (rigged by me, rather than pre-rigged).

-Tubes that I stuff so they float as topwaters (a new favorite of mine).  I guess the smallmouth think some type of "freshwater squid" is struggling on the surface

 

Really though there are just so many soft plastics that work...and almost infinite ways to rig and fish them successfully.

Case plastics buzzin frog. Gotta love it because it'll float a 5/0 ewg.

I might throw a Horny Toad over shallow grass if bass are aggresive.

Number one for me is a tube, super versatile bait. Hop it on the bottom to imitate craws or swim it to imitate baitfish.

Second is a 5" Kalins grub. They have a super soft tail that moves at very slow retrieve speeds.

The rest I will use whatever is working, worms, craws, etc and when that stops I rig up numbers 1 and 2.

If we're talking worms it would be a black Mann curly tail. I've been throwing them since 1983.

I've caught many Lunkers with them.

Culprit would be second place finisher.

Texas rigged with a True Turn hook and a sliding bullet weight.

I usually keep coming back to the original 5" Senko. I also like the Fat Ikas and Sweet Beavers.
