Favorite jig trailers

Featured Replies

What is your favorite jig trailer for arkie style, grass, and football heads?  I already have a small collection of jig trailers, but the bait monkey was screaming at me to buy some more, plus I only have a few.:)

Like I said on the other post the zoom ultravibe speed craw is the only trailer I throw on any type of jig. They are affordable and just flat out catch fish. I like some of the rage stuff but I refuse to spend that kind of money on them

When my soft plastics get too beat up for t-rigs I use them for trailers.  Super hog, speed craw, and super chunks are my favorite, but I like to put on a senko, or a plastic worm too.

I have caught my biggest bass on a jig using the largest Pit Boss as a trailer.  It's a big fish meal, for sure!

Tight lines,

Bob

Paca chunks, KVD chunks, and Rage chunks. If I'm trying to catch a kicker a Gambler Mega Craw.

various craws

Rage Craws, PitBoss, and Big Bite Baits Swimming Craw (same thing as Paca Craw but cheaper).

Also got some of the Christy Craws on Sale at Walmart, interested in trying them this year..similar to a Rage craw.

Uncle Josh pork frog , Larew Salt Craw , Hales Craw Worm  and Guido Bugs . They all will work , those are the ones I used the most .

I use a Rage Tail Craw 90% of the time, if I ain't using that, it's a zoom salty chunk or something along those more old school lines. Ultravibe speed chunks and paca chunks work well, but I have loads of confidence in the rage craws.

and I've got a few that are so old I don't know what company made them or even if they are still made anymore.

Oh and sometimes I just put on a single tailed or double tailed grub.

Hope this helps make up your mind on what you should use next time your fishing a jig or give you a good idea how mentally sick I really am when it comes to fishing lures.
