There's a reason Bass Resource is #1

Featured Replies

I just want to thank all the members of this community for sharing their wealth of information. I have gone from being skunked week after week to finding bass on days that would be considered "unproductive" for bass fishing. The posts on deciphering structure have helped me the most personally and have led to me finding really productive areas on a lake my father and I used to overlook as a child (even though we put in there to move through the chain). The technique posts in the tackle section have made trying new techniques a breeze and has really gotten me to come out of my comfort zone of t-rigs (though I still love t-rigs). Thank you Glenn for putting together one hell of a site!fish.jpgfish1.jpgfish2.jpgfish3.jpgfish4.jpg

Definitely a wealth of information on here and some really good fisherman. Its also help me immensely. Lot easier getting answers on here than from other local guys who are worried about giving up info on there "secret spots" or "techniques"

Kudos to @Glenn, the man who made it all happen! :)

And the many awesomely smart anglers here. Helped me

a lot, too.

It's nice that you acknowledged how Bass Resource helped you.  Glenn May has a done a fantastic job creating, managing, & instructing on this website.  Kudos to the Mods also for helping to maintain the integrity of this great bass fishing website.  I enjoy sharing in this community of fishermen & women.  Tight lines.

Good for you PolkFolk! It's a great feeling when you finally put things together to get some bites. And yes, Glenn and all the members here, have made this place a very welcoming, knowledgeable place. I've learned so much here myself.

Y'all deserve it, you really do.

Totally agree!  Great job guys!!  You keep us coming back for more!

It is nice to have all of this information available - but what makes it THE BEST is the constant POSITIVE COMMUNICATION

You see some disagreements here and there (all good entertainment btw), but for the most part - everything is positive...and that is well needed in this nasty world...especially on the ever so hateful "internet"

Wow Thank You So Much For The Kind Words!

I’m really blown away by all the positive comments here! You guys are awesome. Your comments really make everything worthwhile for all of us here at BassResource.  We often receive the negative feedback and complaints, which can be a drag sometimes. Positive energy is a terrific motivator!

It’s fantastic to hear so many people enjoy this site, and are getting real benefits from it.  That has always been our goal.  We will continue to aim even higher.

Thanks again for your positive feedback. It really means a lot!

Glenn

@lonnie g hope your recovery is swift and you're back on the water soon!

Agree with you PolkFolk, this site and all the knowledgeable and helpful folks are the reason I have success fishing for bass.

I came into bass fishing rather late in life, fishing mostly for trout and salmon until a few years ago.  Now, I mostly fish for bass, and unlike before when the only bass I caught were by accident; now I plan to catch bass and am no longer surprised when I do.

In my opinion all of the posts on the this topic is what makes Bass Resource truly unique and informative. Glenn and the Moderators acknowledgement of ThePolkFolk's tread, members locally, nationally and internationally contributing to our collective knowledge and concern for fellow anglers as we pursue our passion of fishing are just a few of the reason why I enjoy Bass Resource so much.  Have a great trip to Lake Fork lonnie g, and continued success and good fishing everyone!  JB
