I'm attending my seventh funeral in shortest month of the year

Bittersweet

Wow, 7 funerals in one month? Very sorry to hear that.

Unfortunately here in NorCal, fishing absolutely sucks. I'm sorry to hear about the funerals but I think you will be able to make it through them and keep your head up.

That's an extremely unfortunate month.  Sorry for your losses.

Something I have not dealt with much in my life at this point. We lost an officer last year to a drunk driver while he was on a traffic stop. I hope to never have to attend another officer's funeral, one of the toughest things I've been through. I hope things get better for you Catt.

As a younger fella, I can't imagine that much loss at once.  I'm sorry, Catt. Keep your head up the best you can.  Hopefully some of the quality time on the water will help you with your thoughts.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Catt, sorry for your losses.

Death is a bandwagon everyone is jumping on.  It's been so sad my way as well.  Sorry for your losses.

Catt - Sorry for your losses. That's tough to bear the brunt of seven funerals in a year, nevertheless in a month.  Here's hoping for some better times ahead.

So sorry to hear, Catt. That is a lot of goodbyes.

Here's to a brighter March.

My condolences Catt.

If my funeral is on a day when conditions are like that, I give all my fishing friends a pass to skip my funeral and instead catch a few pigs on my behalf and pretend I'm there with them.

Dang. That's a lotta funerals for a whole year. Sorry you've been having a rough go as of late. Thoughts & prayers.

So sorry for you losses...seriously.  I read these stories of loss on Bassresource and thank God he has let me have him in my heart that I may lift people up.  I usually don't know what happens but I do believe in prayer.  After all I am communicating with our heavenly father and pretty much the only one that knows what to do.  All the best to you.

On a side note I have gone a long time without fishing on two different occasions...One when our daughter started having surgery's for cancer and two when I had acute pancreatitus and went so long without fishing when I looked in my rod locker it was gray.....ugh.  But...today is a good day...tomorrow is an adventure not to be taken for granted.

I hear ya Catt....started new years eve off with the 24 hour flu (way to ring in the new year) 7 days later we had to put our 12 year old dog down (unexpected) 9 days later we had to put our 17 year old dog down! First time losing a dog let alone 2. That's a gut punch. Then we had a cancer scare with my sister in-law, everything is good now after surgery. Then uncle Sam unexpectedly reached in my pocket and yanked a bunch of money out! January winter in Michigan all there is to do is dwell on the misfortunes. January sucked! I woke up this morning and a new season isn't too far away so I can't complain. Sorry for your loss and keep that head up and that line wet Catt.

Sorry to hear of the loss of so many good friends Catt, and I hope everyone enjoyed fond memories at their services. The fish will always be there...JB

Matt, I am very sorry for your losses. Unfortunately I have been there. Hang tough young man!

Your God will see you through it!
