Some NFL funnies for you guys this morning.

  • Hard to argue with facts

  • This week, no NFL figure has operated at the dizzying pace of Bill Belichick, who can't seem to stop flipping high-profile trades. Receiver Brandin Cooks, defensive end Kony Ealy and tight end Dwayne

If OJ came out of retirement he'd play for the bengals.

Haha...I heard Paul Brown Stadium has its own prison system.

Patriots are so loaded now it's ridiculous. I see them running the table. Dallas and Atlanta both improve in the NFC and provide a challenge, but Brady gets to hoist another trophy. Seattle and Pittsburgh both disappoint tremendously. Green Bay could be a wildcard, but I think their offense is still too dependent on QB with no RB's or WR's. Houston wonders what their season could have looked like with a healthy Romo as they go 7-9 with the league's best defense. Andrew Luck gets 5 concussions and breaks every rib, twice.

Nice to see the Bills blowing up the front office... Promising...

Nice, indeed. But as a life-long Bills fan, there remains a feeling

of trepidation, yet excitement, yet fear, yet "this is the year" type

of rollercoaster, :lol::unsure::(:crybaby:

I do like what I see. McDermott, to me, is what we need. And I

do admit, I'll be holding my breath for playoffs this year. Sammy

must stay healthy (and perform). Despite tough schedule, esp

at end of the season with 2 Patritots, 2 Fins games, we have some

great pieces in place, great coaching staff.

Its nice to finally have a sense of direction... Still going into the year with no expectations.. Hoping to be surprised.. Its also nice to have 2 1st round picks next year..

As much as the patriots improved its hard to imagine them not winning the super bowl, BUT, the Giants improved too, and they seem to have a recipe for nocking off New England in Super Bowls.

And the Falcons still have a cornerback that was injured for the super bowl and has a good history of slowing down cooks so the Falcons could surprise again too if they can get after Brady a little.

Lots of big names on new teams this year.  Should make for an exciting year for nfl fans! Go cowboys lol!

Raiders are going to be scary this year. If Carr stays healthy that offense is going to dominate.

But we all know us cheeseheads will be bringing back the trophy to its rightful place this year.

GO PACK GO

I just hope the panthers get back to winning this year. Last year was a major let down.

On paper the Pat's have already  won!

Brady will concussion himself off the field, thanks to his Mrs alerting the commissioner.

But the game isn't played on paper.

You heard it here......Cowboys!

Side note, half the teams in the NFL would be lucky to have Romo, if you look at the numbers.

Side note 2. The NFL has turned into a pushy league.  Sadly, the most exciting games are at the college level.....

Off the soapbox and time for a cigar

Chris Simms ( the human who penned this Ranking) definitely has an interesting point of view.

Placing the Giants, Steelers & the Chiefs AHEAD of the Falcons (5th) at 2nd, 3rd, & 4th respectively, might be an indication of crack use.

Just say 'in.

Of course, he must have placed the New England team at the top before he sparked up . . . .

Cowboys above the seahawks and raiders is laughable. Be surprisd if Dallas wins 10 games this year.

Well, you know it's just one guy's opinion. I thought the mid ranking for the Broncos

was on spot. I hate going into a season with such low expectations for "my team",

but the O is weak and our QB sucks!

I think Kansas City is the sleeper, but they just can't close the deal. The last time

they won the Super Bowl I was a senior in high school. 1969-1970 was a long time

ago.

Truer statement has yet to be said on this thread.. they are a bunch of thugs. And the stadium atmosphere isn't much different. I always see a scrap every time I go, always people smoking in the stands. I can honestly say from experience Detroit has friendlier fans overall ! Detroit!

I'm not big into predictions because so much depends on key injuries, but I will say that last year's Cinderella season the Cowboys had will not be repeated.  The rest of the NFL has had time to figure out how to defend against them now, and will be well prepared.

Don't get me wrong.  Dallas is good, but their opponents weren't prepared for their new offense.  They are now.

Pre-season power rankings = next weeks weather report. Its just a big guess.

The Chiefs did little to improve during the offseason. Their "phenomenal", defense couldn't stop the run to save their lives. They cut their only real veteran receiver and fired their offensive coordinator after training camp started. Last year they got some really flukey wins (Peters stealing the ball from the receiver VS Carolina, Berry's 2pt interception return VS the Falcons). I doubt they win the division, with the return of Derick Carr to the Raiders, and I'd be surprised if they got 10 wins and maybe another Wild Card spot so they can go 1 and done for the umpteenth time.

I hope your right. Make that 1st round pick a little sweeter...

Especially now that Elliot has been suspended for 6 games. They're still one of the few NFL teams that rely on the running game for success.
