HA! You know that's already in the works :).  I might make it inside to check out the house at some point too....Eventually :D

Wish I had that much room in my garage.

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

Cool pic Paul! It’s a good week for some big waves on the big lake.

You’re supposed to destroy your sweatshirt as soon as your boat sold. ?

Not quite sold yet. Paperwork was submitted to the bank Friday at the end of the day. As of this morning still waiting for his financing to get approved.

This is the easy part and I'm sure going to miss the Lund. I bought the Lund with dad in mind and, not to be negative but, his fishing days are numbered. Since mom has passed, he doesn't really even want to fish and his health has turned south in the last month.

There are new lives for me to impact. New memories to be made. The little guy in my arms and the hopes of a few more little guys/gals will be a new chapter in my book before God decides it's time for me to check out.

Estes Model Rocketry

That's still around? I did Estes rockets when I was a teen back in the 70's...had a whole fleet.

Yep. Head over to Michael's or Wallmart or Hobby Lobby and get yourself launching again !

Just what I need - another hobby. Besides, they have the 'cool' looking rockets anymore? I had three of the four on this 'page' - not the Invader.

We used to tape the rocket engines to toy cars and trucks and run them down the street.

Craziest thing we did - took a lower-stage engine, put it in a 'Scout', packed the body with black powder....when the engine shot that bit of 'glowing' propellant up to ignite the next stage....BOOM.

Half a dozen, 15 year old, unsupervised boys....what do you THINK we were going to try?

Impressive. We only got as far as filling our Airfix model planes with white spirit, setting light to them and flying them out of the bedroom window. Mind we did turn a toy cap gun into a functioning gun....

Ripley just met the latest member of the family. I wanted one of these things when they came out, I was in my teens and my mom said "There's no way I'm having that thing in the house.". So *adult me* went on eBay last week and got a decent cheap one from some guy in the UK.

One thing no one ever talks about

being an adult is just how much time

you debate yourself on keeping a cardboard box

because it's, like, a really good box.

With the wind gassing almost 30mph we decided launching the boat wasn’t a good idea, so we decided to try some bridge fishing for smallmouth. Here’s the we didn’t catch a dang thing picture. ?

The Delta is magic wherever you go.  My latest boat refurbish is so I can anchor up and wake up to fishing.

It will leave a mark but I can not take much more of this dumpster fire of a year !
