fun ride and significant because that’s 7 month old hazel riding with her daddy in the red canoe. Her first boat ride!!! (She already has 2 life jackets to choose from)

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

The last watermelon of the year from our garden. Not sure what I'm going to eat at work when this is gone.

Impressive. Our tomatoes and beans are all gone now, some lettuce still going and spinach, kale and a few other tough leafy things in to keep us going through the winter.

Really gonna miss coming home from work on hot afternoons. Loved to sit on the back patio getting soaked with pink water while I still had my paint clothes on. I'm not one to cut it in little cubes and eat out of a bowl. Guess you have no choice when you're eating at the jail.

That's a big dog and if it's anything like ours are, it's weight doubles once it's asleep.

Hank is the same way and he knows it. I sometimes think he pretends to be asleep because he knows we can’t move him.

I’ve not met a dog yet that can’t be moved with the help of some bacon waved in the air. I swear you can almost bring one back from the dead if you can get some bacon in front of its nose.

We've been having more wind than anything else this year. I don't like wind. You can dress for rain or cold, but wind just makes everything difficult.

Haven’t even sat down 5 seconds after 58 hours of a work week, and this is what I get. I won’t complain.

My two always meet me at the top of the stairs as soon as I get home, can’t even sit my lunch kit down yet and I have to pet them.
