Nothing like a run on the tube on a hot afternoon. This was about 3 miles out in the big water of Georgian Bay, great spot for a run with hardly another boat anywhere.

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

First day behind the wheel. Only had 1 little mishap. One of the little girls at the birthday party was in the jeep with him in the yard. He decided to stand up. She hit the gas and he did a header off the back of the Jeep into the grass...Women drivers...He's crying and all the young moms come to his rescue. Grandma says time to put the car away. Instantly he went from crying to "No! I want to drive!"

Hey, I'm 51.  I'm not sure that I'd be much of a stud if I got MYSELF a woman twice my age...

Not proud of this. My daughter texted me where can she buy worms to take the grandson fishing. I told her Walmart and to check and make sure they're alive. We use pieces of crawlers for bluegill.

Those ones always suck. I get wounds like that on my hands at work sometimes, and it always takes forever to heal. Seems like it’s sealed back up, and you hit it on something again or catch it and open it back up, and it starts all over again.

Yea hopefully I can keep it away from everything this week. About an hour after I did that, we had a floor board popping up that I couldn’t get to lay right. My buddy says “it’s probably got a chunk of finger under it”

Hit the water this morning with 6poundbass. He got the skunk, I got 3, then a small storm blew in. This was the shot right as we launched.

This is a great frogging lake! I caught my largemouth PB on this lake throwing a frog. It’s best around late September when the pads start to wither.

If I remember correctly from what my grandpa taught me, this is a male watermelon and likely to not be as sweet as the smaller, rounder female fruits, but still pretty proud to have grown one this large in our small garden in the backyard. 29.2 pounds on the bathroom scale (1 6 year old for scale).
