Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates

If you havent read anything from Tom Robbins, this would be a good place to start.

Wow, WAY too many books to choose from! But if you held a gun to my head...

Blood Sport (A Journey Up The Hassayampa) by Robert F. Jones.  I first read it around 12 years old and probably read it half a dozen times before it was lost somewhere.  Unfortunately it's out of print and not in e-book format.  I need to buy a used copy off of Amazon one of these days and reacquaint myself with this amazing book.

"The River Why" is probably my favorite of all time. I've read it at least half a dozen times. Honorable mention's are Louis L'Amours The Walking Drum and I will also agree with Phil on his choice of "The 13th Valley".

I've never heard of Tom Robbins. Just looked this book up and placed it on my Kindle Wishlist so I won't forget about it.

The Greatest Generation - Tom Brokaw

The greatest generation was a very good book.

Anything written by Robert Ludlum(Bourne series) or Clive Clusser(Dirk Pitt series). What an imagination these guys must have..

Would have to agree with the Bible....would have to say "I try" and read a portion almost every day.  Other then that I enjoy reading period.  Rob Sinclair, Baldacci, Dalzelle,David Robbins, Rick Jones, L.T. Ryan, Jeremy Robinson, Grisham.....to mention a few.

I used to read Grisham all of the time, but now it's Vince Flynn's "American Assassin" series (first movie coming in Sept) followed up by several of John Ringo's book series's. Also I have really enjoyed the Song of Ice and Fire and LOTR books.

I really should get back into reading more again, it seems that movies and tv have taken over my entertainment diet

Of Mice and Men. I've read it a few times, the first time was high school English class when they forced me to read (I wasn't a reader) I've probably read it 3 or 4 times since and seen the movie several times.
