I'm sure this has been asked before but maybe its changed for some. 

 

What shoes ( if any) do you wear while fishing?

 

 

I personally still haven't been able to find a pair of tennis shoes that are comfortable enough to stand in all day fishing so I've been wearing crocks. They are very comfortable but they get slick quick and are not the most agile

I currently wear my all around tennis shoes. I've been seriously considering some neoprene wader shoes, in case of a steep bank, etc, while pond fishing if I wanted to put a foot in the water to pick up a big one, or something. I have no idea how comfortable any of them are. They almost seem too cheap to be really good. I guess I could piggy back your thread on that, lol.

I have slipped on slimmy boat ramps more times then I care remember.  I am looking for a non-slip fishing shoe, good on slimmy ramps and rocks.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Personally I wear a decent pair of running shoes or athletic slides and they work well for me.

I wear Crocs. Haha.

Bare foot when the weather is nice, for some reason i find it more comfortable and easier to feel my trolling motor pedal. Then some comfy running shoes in early spring/fall... winter is hiking boots until the water gets hard and I move ontothe ice with my cold gear

New Balance 990 I believe they are(they are grey).  A salesman at Academy showed and sold me some.  Did not like the high price but my old feet love em.  At least when I'm not going barefoot in summer.  I guess this shoe has been around a long time and is still very popular.

some under armour running shoe that is pretty breathable so it doesn't absorb much or my water proof boots depends on the day

Boat: Flip flops until Halloween, insulated boots until April. Walking/wading : old tennis shoes 

Normally Barefoot but if I do wear shoes its Nike Air Max 90 or New Balance 530

Zeko, Everlast and some under armour running shoes for me. Fished 12+ hrs in them no problem. Feels like they're not even there. 

Crocs when I am kayak fishing.

 

Waterproof boots and long pants no matter what the temp when fishing from shore. One case of poison ivy or oak on the feet and legs while wearing sneakers and shorts was a lesson not soon forgotten.

I have bad feet from a falling accident . I walk with a pronounced limp but do not allow it to stop me . I stand up all day when fishing . The best product I have found are the New Balance Motion Control  In-soles . They are about thirty dollars a pair on amazon . I wear them 100 per cent of the time . New Balance shoes also seem to fit my feet the best .  

World Wide Sportsman fishing shoe from BPS. 

Don't remember the model name but they have a running shoe type sole with a water draining mesh on top and holes on the side.

Keen Newport H2O sandals.  Ugly, but very comfortable.

Columbia PFG Bahama Vent fishing shoes. Lightweight and designed to drain water and dry out quickly. So if I have to get wet while launching early in the morning, I'm not wet all day.

Been wearing these for a couple of season once it warms up.

Especially decent for a wet foot launch & recovery.

I wear Merrel Moab low hiking shoes waterproof on the boat or shore. 

No one wears sperrys? Those have always been classic fishing shoes

hard to beat ‘em, comfortable, slip resistant, and water proof. they tend to run a little small and narrow though. i had to get a half size larger than i normally wear.

i need to replace my old insoles, may give these a look

I did use a cheap pair of sandles so that when I walked in the water it was no big deal. Then I got the planters fasciates... Last time I ever wear cheap shoes. So painful

I'm curious, where would you find a bunch of peanuts banded together?  Be careful if you decide to eat them, I heard they might give you plantar fasciitis...
