This ^^ or just under. Might be different in your area, but around here, you pretty much need to be almost 20.5" to be a legit 5lb bass unless you're just blatantly oversized. You're fish looks solid and healthy, but not ridiculously fat. My final answer: 4.9 to 5.2 pounds B)

Usually a fish that is pretty thick, like that one appears to be, in the 20" range will go somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 pounds.

I agree with 5lbs. 22" is more at 6lbs. Nice fish either way!

Thanks guys! Was really hoping it would hit that 5lb mark

Welcome to the forum. That is a nice northern strain largemouth bass that appears to be around the 5 pound mark.

Nice fish.  Def not 6 @ 20" but probably 3-12 to 4-8oz max.  Def a nice hog!  Be proud of any bass over 3 pounds...and invest $15 in a scale so you don't ever have to wonder again.  Plus, a State record could be on the end of every cast.

I would have guessed in the mid to lower 4 lb range.  Safe to say 4 though.  Awesome fish.  Congrats man.   How'd you catch it?
