    PLASTICS !?

  • texas rigged worm

  • I'd rather throw different types of plastic over any one specific type of hard bait.  I'll cycle threw the whole bag if I have too.    So in keeping with your question, I caught the mos

Plastic stick baits, spinnerbait, swim jig.

Love to fish a lipless. They cast great, have little resistance, and there's nothing like that hard thump when they get bit. Also, I get a lot of strikes at my feet from followers.  A real wake me up!

this..........................

ms slammers,  fishing magician skid stick, i love those baits! and each color!!

Vision 110.  In my short time fishing it has been pretty good to me.

Yum Dinger. Comes in all sizes and can be rigged so many ways (Wacky, Texas, Carolina, etc.) Close second is the Z-man TRD.

Favorite is a Vision 110 in yellow perch. Smallies will hit it all year long. It'll get me numbers and quality.

I love topwater blowups, but my favorite lure has to be a jig!

Definitely depends on how much i could spend to get said favorite lure haha, i have used very nice swimbaits for a while and they were much to expensive for a high school student to purchase more of. on the higher end i prefer the Megabass Popmax or Vision 110 Jerkbait. if i had to choose a favorite lure for a young angler with a small spending limit i would definitely go with 7" PowerWorms, in either Tequila Sunrise or Black Grape(or similar color)

Over the last three years or so the most bass have been on the below two baits.  Really my go to when the bite is tough.

Lake/Reservoir: Weighltess 5" green pumpkin Senko wacky rigged

River: Ditch colored Rebel Wee Craw

I listed buzzbaits  . My favorite is my hand poured and I incorporate  a stair step design similar  to the Cavitron .    Not saying mine is better than the Cavitron but its mine .

I can't believe no one has said whopper plopper. I've never used one but it's all I hear about

I tried those things all summer, probably every time I went fishing I at least gave it a try.  Never got a bite until.................End of September and all of October, then they were hitting it like crazy.

Jerkbait. My personal favorite is the Ito Shiner, but there's so many more I could list that are great baits.

Second favorite would have to be a jig.

I like to fish whopper ploppers, but one leaf and that cast is over!

By far would be topwater.. Wether its frogs or poppers or ploppers. But, you can't beat a senko!

Tight lines yall!

If I have to choose one?

Soft plastic jerkbait. Please don't ask me to choose just one brand as of now I have more than 10 differences in rotation all size and color.

If I had to just pick one lure to fish it would be a storm arashi topwalker. If I had to pick one lure to fish and always catch fish it'd be a Texas rigged watermelon red baby brush hog

Hollow body frog/ buzz frog. Not that versatile, but when the bite is on there is nothing I would rather be doing.

Black and red flake baby ribbit frog, followed close by the 1/4 trap chrome and black back with orange belly.

But the baby ribbit is my fab of all of them.

I've caught more on lipless than anything else...I guess my personal favorite found me.

For 2017 my go to was a square bill crank bait in a variety of brands and colors. I would say that half of my fish for the season came on the same H20 Xpresss square bill in a Sexy Shad pattern... even lost it at the lake for a week and was able to recover it. Changed hooks and kept on slaying em’. When times get tough I normally lean towards a 7” power worm or a soft stick bait in a variety of colors based on the conditions.
