Also and I keep repeating this, I have seen more injuries with people wearing Crocs while fishing than anything else. 

 

I was on vacation last week and fished almost every day. I saw two more people fall victim to Crocs. One guy fell on a dock getting out of a boat and hit his head. The other was a guy at the boat ramp trying to secure his boat to the trailer.  He fell and busted his knee. His wife and son carried him to his truck.  He couldn't walk.

Love my Crocs but ya things can go south in a heartbeat. Too bad they can't bond a Vibram sole to them.

I have a couple of pairs. I don't care how goofy they look, they're comfortable. I have learned not to wear them fishing.  I have a pair of slip on shoes from Korkers with the Vibram soles and they are fantastic for wet boat ramps. The soles are also replaceable. Not cheap but they have outlasted two pairs of Crocs that I knock around the house in.
