Sorry.....it was a smartazzz non-answer to your question.   If you haven't seen Office Space, you should.

This entire section of this entire forum is pretty much dedicated to answering your very broad question...so instead of answering, I was playing with you

Caught my PB (so far - 5.25#) on a white Zoom Super Fluke 4 weeks ago.

Caught a 4.75# yesterday with a Walmart/Ozark Trails crank bait. Yellow with chrome in the side.

I do well with a popper. Any popper. I think a turd with hooks would work if it's the right size.

I'm cheap so I do a lot of BPS/XPS baits and more recently Walmart ones. They're near the same quality. Caught a lot of bass the past few weeks on several colors of Walmart cranks. The 4.75 pounder didn't bend the hooks and I had to lift her to shore a few feet.

So Zoom Super Fluke has been a go to for awhile, and cheap-ass cranks are a new one. :)

I wouldn't have much confidence in stapled together baits, I'd much prefer that mine be molded.  Actually, I've never used a stapled together bait, really never seen one, so I shouldn't be trying to answer this question, but I'm a natural born helper, so I tried.

Stapler_in_jello.jpg.db0a22bb2780dfc9f4a0f23024079624.jpg

If it says YUM and it's soft, I throw it.  I also like Academy's H2O Xpress hard baits as well as Berkley.  My lipless cranks are Strike King.

As far as what I always have tied on : a weightless YUM Dinger, a Berkley Squarebull, a H2O Xpress Ultimate Jerk Shad, and a YUM Pulse 4.5 or Big Bite Baits Cane Thumper in 4.5 as well.

I mostly use soft plastics

worm:  Zoom trickworm, old monster, U tail, etc.  Most of the time Junebug or Candy bug work best where I fish.  I also use Creme Scoundrels a lot.  Call me old fashioned

Craw:  Christie Craw or Rage tail

Stick bait:  Senkos and generic.  Haven't done well with either.  frustrating

Haven't fluke fished much, so won't comment.

Frogs:  generic from Walmart and Zoom toads

Jig:  Arky style with chunk or craw by zoom, usually black and blue.  I don't have a specific Jig that i am loyal to as I am still learning this technique.  I have several brands.

I mostly fish soft plastics or spinner baits.  For spinners, I use DSG house brands, mostly.  Also have some BPS and Booya.

For hard baits, I like Rapala and Cordell.

You know, looking at this you would think that I am a cheap ole guy.  Guess so.

I use a lot of the Zoom soft plastics like @thinkingredneck.

Worms: Ol Monster, Trick Worms, U tale, Finesse Worms, Grubs

Creature Bait: Baby Brush Hog.

Craws: Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Craw, Berkley Crazy Legs Chigger Craw.

Stick Baits: Senkos, BPS Stick O

Jigs: Football Head - Black and Blue or PB&J

Hard Baits: Norman, Bandit, 6th Sense

I don't use any frogs. I use various top waters once in a while and spinnerbaits and chatterbaits some but not as much as I should.

Over the decades more than 90 per cent of the bass i have  caught have come on crankbaits , spinnerbait , buzzbaits , and texas rigs . Other lures get used and sometimes one will got hot and used a lot  . The last few trips stanley  ribbets have done the bulk of the catching .

The green pumpkin Yamamoto Senko has been responsible for many of my summer time catches. I usually have one tied on. Jigs would come next. Once again in green pumpkin or some close variation. Spinner baits are up there on my list as well as chatter baits, I love them both. Flipping/creature baits such as rage bugs and baby brush hogs are also held close bye. It gets blurry after that...I don't have confidence in many topwater lures at the moment but hopefully that will soon change. Are you interested in the the brands and details of everyones staple lures? Also, what are your'e go to baits @BassSam5???

I tend to catch the majority of my bass on a Texas rigged pit boss, hollow bodied frogs and chatterbaits.

In all the years I've been fishing, I'd say the vast majority of the bass I've caught have been on a Roboworm t rigged. I keep a good stock of them..😉
