You had to register, sign up for this with the original email... if you got that.

I am way too impatient for that.   Guess I will just buy another 8.1 to 1 Fuego next time they go on sale.

I am ok with it since my water will be hard in a month and march is when I will start fishing again anyway...not that I will need a 42" retrieve in March but it will be cool to get.

Got one, I'm just curious more then anything to be honest.

The great reviews on Amazon has got me squirming for yet another unnecessary rod and reel.

I got one. Don't need one, but figured I'd give it a try at that price. As much as I throw one, I need to upgrade my buzzbait setup anyways.

I got one just in time for Spring. 

I got the email but didn’t sign up for anything, just opened the link on the original announcement. 

I would’ve bought one, mostly just due to the hype if it wasn’t such a long wait.

I wanted to get one, but I did not see an option for a left/right hand reel. I guess that you can choose once they are ready to ship.

I hope so since I got one. Only time will tell. I think there are ones for 70 bucks that you can specify right or left.

was ready to buy it until saw not till march of next yr. ... that's a deal breaker for me ... i'm fishing now and will be till then ...

I went to the website again after deciding not to bite...... Lots of advertising info. It looks like anyone can get one, not just the first few (maybe not that many are buying into it??). Not available till spring. Kind of looks like a lot of hype. I dunno, when you guys get one I'm sure you'll post your impressions. I'll be interested in those thoughts.

The 60 dollar promo was limited to 300 and those are gone.  There is a 70 dollar one that has 78 claimed.  That's almost 400 reels in less than a day - I would say that's pretty good.

oh... didn't know those numbers were racking up. Ya, that is a good day of sales. Still waiting to see the reviews in March from those who got one.

They had a $20K goal set, and met it in just over 24 hours. They're "Way ahead of schedule", but I don't know if that means the reels will be released any earlier or not. I'm planning on using it for buzzbaits, and that time is unfortunately about done for the season so I'm not in any hurry.

At the present time goal is at $33,854 with 493 sold. Not bad for a little over one day
