For all their washing their food, trash pandas sure leave dirty footprints wherever they go.

Hahaha yeah they aren’t hard to follow. I’ve seen them eat plenty of food without washing it too!

They can strike fear into the hearts of some homeowners!!

I will say it looked pretty wild for a rat snake, but they always seem to as juveniles

How does the trapping and removal go as we go into fall and winter? Is dec Jan feb down months for you or are you still busy?

Busy all year just a different set of problems. Once it gets cold we start dealing with squirrels in attics, that particular issue is nonexistent in the summer. Also January and February is the great skunk wave every year. They are mating  and on the move and usually get into a crawlspace. Also groundhogs and bats hibernate so we don’t have to deal with those in winter

A squirrel made a nest in my neighbors roof, right next to the gutter.  I brought my pellet gun over, and it ran out of the hole it made, and ran 30 feet up a tree.  I took my pellet gun(No scope or sights), Crosman Benjamin Prowler, and covered up the squirrels body with the barrell of the gun, and pulled the trigger and down he fell.  I spent 45 minutes trying to skin it, first time ever trying.  I brought it home and my mom told me I couldn't eat it.  ?‍♂️

Nice shot! Takes me forever to Skin them too, not worth the time for the meat unless you give it to someone who knows what they are doing (not me). Some Guys were recently caught with 471 squirrels in Missouri and they were charred, I’m assuming to remove the hair. I cleaned like 35 bullfrogs when I was your age over a few weeks and put them in the freezer. Mom found them, and I got in trouble and lost all my meat haha

471!  Thats like 5 pounds of meat. lol

Frog legs are really good.  Mom wouldn't even let me bring it in the house, it was in a ziploc bag.  I had to store it at my neighbor until she decided I couldn't eat.

You don’t! I forgot to type that part. Although the rule ive always heard is don’t eat them in a month that doesn’t contain an “r” so September may be fair game. I want to say the season is already open in many parts of the country

I can eat squirrel but I’d rather have something more filling regardless of season

Well, kind of. The rodentia order indeed includes squirrels but it also includes beaver, muskrat, nutria, groundhog, prairie dog, etc.

a squirrel eats acorns and walnuts, a rat eats garbage and sewer leavings. Squirrel meat isn’t strong tasting, just kind of plain flavor and a colossal waste of time for me . My in-laws and wife love eating squirrels

Squirrel with gravy and biscuits was a staple growing up. They take about 30 seconds to skin and gut if you know what you’re doing and nothing goes horribly wrong - you basically start at the tail with a small slit and turn them inside out. Like most fish - they taste pretty good if you do your part in taking care of them.
