that’s the way it would be in my dreams anyhow but currently I don’t even know how many Rods are in my boat and there’s probably only lures on 1-2 of them because I usually leave the lake after I break off (after dark, mosquito swarm audibly begins, get out of the water time)

 Spinnerbait, Wacky, Texas, Topwater(Most likely, Gunfish or frog) 1/4 or 3/8 jig with trailer.

Jig, T-rig, wacky rig, bladed jig, some kind of topwater, probably a Ned rig, big swimbait. 

 

I always have the following on the deck

• Texas Rig
• 1/2 - 5/8 oz. Jig
• Spinnerbait
• Buzzbait/Whopper Plopper
• Shallow Crankbait

I have other rods rigged in the rod locker with backups and such things as a Frog, Rage Rig, or Punch Rig.

 

I never carry more than 12 rods total. More than that I end up getting confused.

Same. Most posters on here must have a lot more room on their front deck than I do.

 

Currently, there is a wacky rig, shallow crank bait, and spinner bait on my deck.

It really depends on where I'm going to fish.  Some days, there's a pile up, other days it's just one. One thing is for sure, if there's a hot bite on a certain bait, I'll have as many of those rigged and on deck ready, rather than retie. If I'm fishing a top water, I'll probably a fluke and or a senko ready. I often punch with three different baits too - a heavy jika, a jig, and a pegged Texas rig. 
 

The point is it's never a set list. I don't fish a ton of different baits, but I don't like being pigeon holed either. 

The easy answer to this question is - 19 year old boat carpeting.

If I get out early enough i'll usually throw on a popper to one of those rods. If I cant get a bite on a shaky head, fluke or spinner its usually going to be a very slow day for me. Those are my highest producing setups by quite a bit.

The ten below are what I will start with on vacation. As the week progresses I have other combos I can switch in or out. Yes there are two ugly sticks in there, but they suit those techniques well. I do have an Avid X that I like for squarebills that may make the rotation and the Dobyns champion may become more of a jerkbait rod, time will tell.
