A real committed Bassresource member would’ve live streamed the ceremony on here. ?

Wait....you just had the wedding in Northern MI, right?

I was going to see about rounding up @12poundbass @Mbirdsley and @A-Jay to crash it!  Oh well. Bad timing for me anyway.

Congrats on both your romantic achievement and new sonar acquisition!

Hahaha! Thanks! We love northern Michigan, it’s my wife’s happy place (but far too cold for her to inhabit permanently haha)

Never say never - first winter up here, the wife was all "I wanna go home".

Now she wouldn't leave no matter what.

I 'imported' her from SE Florida (Boca, Ft. Lauderdale region)

My wife comes from the great white north and now thinks our subtropical winters are too cold. Go figure. We have no intentions of leaving TN but I think MI has to be my second favorite state in the union

Yes, winters are bad up here.  But Summers are just glorious.

hopefully I did that right!!! My buddy and his 1 year old daughter supervised. I used my old transducer location that gave a clear reading even at wide open throttle (and also doesn’t require holes in the hull).

So I drove by a bridge a few times………..

I guess the side imaging is working alright!!

that last picture is the smallmouth bass Taj Mahal

Looks good.  There is one thing you’re doing wrong.  When you’re taking pictures to post here you need to set your fish finder so that is shows your GPS coordinates. ?

Hahah!! I was downtown where the fishing is no good anyhow. But seriously it does seem that a good way to learn electronics is start by scanning where you know something is. My earlier depth finders I just scanned over schools of white bass I already knew were there. That way I would know what a school looks like in future scenarios. This is my first unit with side imaging, I’m not sure if I’m marking any fish with it but I sure think I saw a few big shadows of carp silhouettes yesterday . Definitely saw bridge posts!

Congratulations on your wedding

the new electronics are simply amazing, every time I see one it just WOW!

TnRiver 46, Congratulations on the nuptials and the sweet Lowrance! I spent three years in Escanaba, MI in the U.P., caught my first smallie there. I would love to go back for a week or so.
