So what is your secret color that others probably haven't heard of? For me it's Zoom scuppernong which Jackal calls cola. Its a translucent brown with no flakes and has done very well for me in clear water.  For most Zoom baits it is a special run color that is hard to find.

Motor oil. Now don't get me wrong plenty of guys on here know what it is..but nobody around me does. When I pull a motor oil phenom worm out its not uncommon to hear " what the heck color is that?" Followed by me replying "don't worry about it".

I have the 3.5” speed craws in scuppernog. I’m down to my last 5 or so baits though. I believe some JDM plastics also come in scuppernog, but I’m not sure how they look compared to Zoom’s scuppernog. 
 

Great mentions so far..love me some motor oil grubs. Still can’t figure out if it’s a muddy or clear water color but all that categorizing is nonsense anyways. I’ve been brainwashed by the manufacturers lol… And some colors are well-known depending on region and the individual angler’s immersion into the fishing world. 
 

If I had to give one a shout, it would be Opening Night by Z-Man. I don’t know of any other brands which have something similar.

Used to throw z-craws on jigs a whole lot. Great great jig trailer

I have some Zoom Super Speed Craws in scuppernong royal color. It is brown with blue flakes in it. They have worked well for me but this color isn't even being produced at this time.

In Reaction Innovations I do when the sun is out. I think the red flake helps out under these circumstances.

Recently I got hook on anything black color and pumpkin with black and purple flakes (Yamamoto color).

Bama bug colored pit boss is my confidence beaver style lure.

I heard somewhere that scuppernong is a type of grape  . Maybe I’m full of crap.

When 1st came out Jackall Flick Shake 4.8 was the hot worm wacky rigged. Faded in popularity but still the hot ticket in watermelon candy.
