Even without that part I like the Ernest movies (and commercials ) better. But to each his own! 

 

I grew up watching Pee Wees playhouse and not Ernest so that's why I chose Pee-Wee over Ernest. I actually forgot the actor was a creep.

I also watched pee wee playhouse as a youngster. We liked it alright, just not a household favorite .
