    That’s unfortunate. The silver lining is you recognize it and the vicious cycle will be broken. Too many times it isn’t. My wife’s father wasn’t the greatest and she and her siblings don’t have a relationship with him but my brother in-law followed in his footsteps and is a ? dad to our nephew.

    Thank you and right back at you. My pops has been gone for around 15 years, but not a day goes by that I don't think about him and miss him.
