Sir, I'll shoot you a message so we don't disrupt this thread

I just noticed that the thread is yours. I shot you a message. Even though thread is yours I think @roadwarrior would be happy if thread stays on topic plus easier to talk to you in messaging.

The Cabela's Mean Eye Jerkbaits work pretty good. Got the one pictured for $1.99 during a sale. Caught a 32lb bag with it that day and multiple 20+-lb bags since then.

Checked the Cabela’s website, and it seems like they now market Mean Eye jerkbaits as a walleye jerk bait for some reason. Or they’ve discontinued a “bass-specific” model. Wonder if they’re the same lure as the “walleye series”?

Shhhhhhhhh (it is the walleye series)

My favorite spinner baits are the $1.00 Wal Mart house brand, caught fish on every color they have except black with my favorite being pb&j. Also I’m a fan of the Ozark trail crank baits and rattle trap style hard baits, again my favorite being the bluegill pattern with their sexy shad version being a close second. Also absolutely love and highly recommend the Creme mini rattle traps available at Wal Mart. I also picked up 2 ozark trail whopper plopper knock offs this spring in Decatur but haven’t seen them offered at any other Wal Mart since then. I did pick up a handful of Berkeley Choppos at the bps spring sale along with 2 bps versions as well as a couple bps square bills. Haven’t caught anything on the bps stuff but like the way they run in the water. Soft plastics I like the “big bite bait” plastics. Almost forgot my favorite jigs are the strike king jigs available at Wal Mart also, especially the finesse swim jigs.

Bps stump jumper, Blakemore road runner, 3" curly tail grubs. Can't get much cheaper than those.

Zoom finesse worm (20 pack for under $5)

Rapala husky jerk

ZMan original chatterbait (not as good as the elites or jackhammers, but it still catches bass)

D&L tackle advantage casting jigs (fall craw color is killing it right now and each jig is $3.50)

Not sure if it has been mentioned already, but the tiny creme craw crank that you can pick up for 1.25 at Walmart has caught a lot of fish for me this year and I am on my second set of hooks on one. It catches both large smallies and of course smaller ones too with the small hooks. Once I learned to loosen the drag a bit more than normal I stopped bending out hooks.
