What time do you go to bed?

I wake up early. 4:30 to 5:00 am.  I’m in bed by 8:30pm. Ha!

Bed around 11 - up around 6am...except fishing days, then I'm up around 5am

during the week, it's bed @ 11, up at 4:30-5:00. 

on the weekend?

sometimes i don't go to bed at all. i pass out in the easy chair in front of this screen

Me too.

Go to bed somewhere around 9, at half time if there's a football game on. I don't remember the last time I stayed up for a whole game.

 

Up at 11,1,3,5,and finally at 6:30, unless it's earlier for fishing.

Never consistent. If want/need to wake up earlier I try and go to bed earlier

There was a time that I didn't get to sleep before 0300 or so. Just working all the time.

 

Now I'm a terminal burnout and I get cranky if I'm not at least on the way to bed by 2200.

Usually around 9:30-10, up at 5. If I’m fishing I might be up at 3.

11-12 and get out of bed around 5 but I usually wake up at 4 and debate on getting out of bed and usually just lay in bed and read some news, check weather on my phone etc...

By design, nothing of importance happens in our world after 9 pm.

We wind down the day and are usually horizontally prone by 9:30 or 10 pm at the latest.

I'm up at 6 in the summer with the dogs, 6:30-7 am in the dead of winter. 

The human body is a magic machine and much of that happens while we sleep.

As an older man, this becomes especially important.

I used to hate going to bed.

Now, I'm ready, willing & able to get all the benefits from it I can.

I'm almost always up past midnight, sometimes until 1:30.  I've always been a night owl.  I also don't have to get up until 8 usually so its not so much a problem.  Fishing mornings I have to plan ahead better since I'm usually out the door by 330 or so.

Whenever the urge strikes, and I'm a firm believer in naps.

 

Anytime between 10 and 1, depending on the time I need to wake up. I always aim for 7 hours of sleep if it's possible. Don't know how people do less, I really need it. I'm also not much of a coffee drinker so that might be part of it.

i function best if i sleep 8.  i do the math and go to bed to get my 8.  on the night before fishing, it can be embarrassing.  i have gotten 8, but i can muddle along with 6,

 

my neighbor is 94 years old.  she once asked, "you sleep so early?" .  apparently she notes when my house goes dark. :)

The military really affected how my sleep pattern still is. I still try to go to bed or at least be laying down by 10pm. I have really good work flexibility so I am often awake, but not out of bed yet at 7:30 or 8am.

 

My huge problem is I cannot stay asleep well. I will be up multiple times throughout the night just because. I do not even go to the bathroom, I just wake up and look around for a little bit and then doze back off. 

 

I will say I "feel" better when I wake up earlier than sleeping in.

when i was young.  i would slug a giant glass of water right before i went to sleep.  it would start to tickle at 2:30am and i would wake to pee.  this was how i woke myself up on hunting trips.

We always called this, "the Indian alarm clock."   I guess today it would be referred to as "the native American alarm clock" or just be considered cultural appropriation.  ?

Very close to my routine.  I fought it when I was working because I had to be out the door by 4:30am.  Now that I’m retired, I can sleep in till around 8am but if it’s a fishing day I’m still going to bed at the same time and I’m out the door at 3-3:30am.  If we are on our annual trips to either Florida or Michigan, I am in bed at 8-8:30pm.  I need the extra for our sun up to sun down “combat” endurance fishing days.

I’m really impressed. I’m a young guy and can only manage to get to bed before 8:30 with some melatonin and preparation
