Possible single digits and snow for Christmas!

I'm heading south.

Thursday Night
A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 9.
Friday
Partly sunny, with a high near 22.

Hear the Bahamas are nice this time of year!

That's what they're saying here in NC also.   I think they're calling for cold and snow across most of the south.

It wasn't that awesome for me.  I was still working 2nd shift.  I drove home at midnight with worn out tires on a snow covered interstate full of people who don't know how to drive.  :wink7:

And that’s all the snow’s fault? Haha

You guys down there are soft - we're looking at wind chills in the -20 to -30 range this week.

A white Christmas means I’m out working. I feel like a Scrooge wishing it doesn’t snow on Christmas.

Lol. That’s balmy in the Pacific NW. we’re currently in the mid 30s now but it was 31 degrees when I walked my dog this morning. ?

Thursday it's dropping from 55 to 15. And then to 10 the next day.... in Texas. 10. God help us if frozen water falls from sky.

Last weekend the water was back over 60 after touching the mid 50's for a bit. And to think I was hoping for a mild winter.

No-no-no - Ice goes on the lakes, snow goes on the ground...come on Tommy.

BTW: I see you're getting a little taste of what we deal with for 5 months...welcome to the club. :laugh5:

I don't wanna but in the club!

I'm already in the club that fishes year round!

I finished my 2022 bass fishing year Saturday on a lake high in the mountains.  I brought a spinning rod along just in case I needed to try fineness in this mountain reservoir.

The surface temp, was a chilly 62 degrees at daylight, and warmed up to 65 degrees mid afternoon.  Kind of reminded me of ice fishing.  Only thing I found to catch some largemouth with in this freezing water was a drop shot.  Glad I brought the spinning rod.  After the New Year, I plan on fishing a lower elevation lake that has a more reasonable water temperature, and leave the spinning gear at home.
