Howdy yall, glad to be part of the forum.

 

Recently started getting serious about bass fishing (well, fishing in general) this summer.  Going to be fishing the banks of ponds and small lakes around the Chicagoland area, and also frequently on water in a small plastic two-man boat with a cousin of mine, around the same area and also Michigan around the Dowling and Crystal Falls areas.

 

Before, fishing was a once a year thing with my little Berkeley Lightning Rod, usually blindly throwing crankbaits at the shore because it was the easiest to retrieve.  After not learning much from experience, I started watching videos and learning more this past spring, and now I've taken a pretty strong interest in getting out there.  Hoping to learn more and have a lot of fun!
