Still black on black or do you throw some shad colors too?

My favorites for full moons are black/blue and black/chartreuse. 

White. Dark stuff works too but a white frog at night has always been a producer. 

Dirty water darker colors

Clear water lighter colors

I like lighter colors because it always seems like no matter how dirty the water looks to us, it's clear to bass.

Very interesting, kinda makes me wonder if color matters at all at night.

I think size, profile, rate of fall and presentation (depth and speed) matter a lot more than color at night and in the day time both....except for when color matters.  I find if color matters a lot in the day time at a certain body of water, those colors are also important at night.

 

Most days I only tweak color if they're hitting a bait constantly but not committing.  I try to also be a little bit clever by varying my colors across my bait selection and sometimes that gives me a clue as to whether color is playing at all.

If I'm catching em on a redbug worm as the sun sets, guess what I'm gonna be throwing after it sets?

 

Neither a bass or their food source morph into a new creature just because the sun set.

What I learned so far, Colorwise, You can go with any color you getting bite on daytime on full moon. For me on the knight I go with top waters and big swimbaits always to catch fish, If things go very slow, Ill do jig and big ribbon tail black worms brass and glass Texas rig.

I throw the same colors as I do during the day.  Sometimes on new moon nights I can get superstitious and move toward black if I'm getting short strikes.

During a full moon I fish the same colors and just increase the speed of my return by 3.62 percent.
