My Walmart offers plenty of Rapala cranks, Booyah and Strike King frogs. I really like the Walmart 2.5 Ozark Trail frog. They sell a ton of the Abu Garcia Black Max bait casters for 50 dollars. I've got a box full of Yum dingers I recently purchased on clearance. Just to name a few other options ... 

There seems to be quite a range of fishing gear offered, depending on the Walmart's location - some stores have only one isle while others have two full isles or more.

 

I had usually just quickly cruised the isle/isles (most often not getting anything) yet since a "Clearance" bin had been mentioned here I started looking for that bin/box and yesterday picked up a few Storm Arashi Vibes for $4 at a Walmart.

Yes, but Missouri has real tackle stores. A small limited one just opened up close to me otherwise I have to drive 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to find a good one.

Oh boy I just stopped into my local Wal Mart and man they’ve stepped up their game 😬 I was able to keep the  🙊 at bay but barely at that. Too many temptations including 6th sense crank baits and square bills along with some really nicely colored googan squad cranks,lipless cranks and square bills and to top it off a Falcon Evo rod in 6’-0” light action that I thankfully couldn’t find the price of as I wandered down to pick up my dogs food. I have a bad feeling about this upcoming season 😆

But what kind of dog food did you buy? That’s the big question here. 

 There isn’t anything I need at Walmart unfortunately. I don’t have anything against the company but they don’t carry anything I need, especially in Sorting Goods.

@gimruis I picked up 2 bags of Purina One as 2 of my dogs get a mixture of that and Bil Jac and the other gets a mixture of Bil Jac and a prescription food for colitis.

@gimruis I’m out of reactions for the day. I wasn’t sure about the Purina at first but that’s what the dog was used to and our vet said it’s actually a quality food which made me happy to hear.

As far as the rod goes I just did a google search and found the price of the aforementioned Falcon rod. I can definitely see going to my local Wal Mart could become my bait monkeys favorite activity 😆

Although I live in a fairly good sized town that is located in a prime fishing area of SW GA, Walmart is the best place for me to go locally for tackle.  So, when I go there, I always walk down the fishing and clearance aisles to see what's there.  I loaded up on the GY Senko's a couple of years ago when the old packaging went on clearance for around $2/pack.  I used to work for Walmart years ago back home in SW MO and the store I worked at had Harold Ensley (aka "The Sportsmans Friend", for those that remember the show) in-store for an autograph session, which was kind of cool!
