Been fishing a long time and not once have I caught a bass in 30* water.

Today I caught 2 throwing a Zoom speed craw on a 3/8 Shakyhead..... they were cold and didn't fight much, well they weren't big either. 🌝

That was my first thought too. Can’t be 30 degrees. It would be ice.

Love the speed craw, I need to be chucking it. Found a bag of them in my boat recently

My bad, 1st fish I've ever caught with water temps below 40......it was actually 38*.

Should have said 1st fish with water temps in the 30's 😃

i don’t see water below 40 often but we definitely had some shallow coves freeze over this year. Main channel stayed around 45

Seems like I’ve only caught one or two bass in water below 40 degrees. I have caught some stocked trout in icy water but they don’t mind as much
