I am thinking they should go a different direction.   I fully expect NFL to add a game to regular season.   I say add a week to regular season and drop all preseason games.  One or two joint practices, then Go!

The league has been going in this direction for quite a while, so it’s definitely a possibility. In the 70’s there were 6 exhibition games to start the season, with what a 15 round draft? The league then decided to shorten the exhibition season, adding those games to the regular season to drum up more interest towards ticket sales. 
 

I think if anything, the league would probably use the revenue generated argument to go to 2 exhibition games as opposed to joint practices. And like you mentioned, add the game to the regular season schedule.

   I haven't watched more than a quarter of a game yet, but there's a few interesting matchups I'd like to see this weekend. And, about a half dozen that you couldn't pay me to watch.

I heard this on the radio this morning while listening to fantasy football weekly in the boat.  The three highest paid quarterbacks in the league have not won a single game combined yet this season.

That contract doesn't start until next season.  His cap hit this season is $43 million.

 

His new deal is in fact 60 mil/season for 4 years (2025 -2028).

Yes that was a demolition by Baltimore, wow.

Baltimore did a good job but not as dominant as what Tampa did to Philadelphia, and I’m not a Tampa fan at all.

NE, Miami and the Jets all look like bottom feeders in AFC East thus far.

Josh Allen is a top tier QB as well.

@Bird I’m not worried and I know they can’t win them all, but that was a blowout! The Ravens always play the Bills tough and Allen is 1-2 against them. 
 

He (Allen) had one helluva pass to midfield as he was running for his life at the sidelines. Dude is a freak!

What a great game last night! From the opening kickoff, I don’t think there was a dull moment the entire game.

While I still believe the Seahawks would have lost, they certainly didn't need any help from the refs.  It was a much closer game than the score suggests on account of some very poor calls that even the announcers were questioning.
