nah I think he’s too far back but it’s funny, I saw Mercer interview him this morning at the takeoff. Said it was his last day of the season and he was ready to go home. Caught too big of fish for that!

Pretty much the same thing for me. I was a subscriber back when it was a fishing tips channel. I even agree with him about FFS. Just the constant complaining ruined it for me. When people, me included would say something (not derogatory) about it, he would say that he doesn't complain, just bringing stuff to our attention. It was just too much.

Was anyone else watching the live feed on bassmaster? The guys were discussing the meeting the anglers had last week at Champlain and the live feed "cut out." I want to know where that conversation was going!

that after 20 years of doing it,

this was his last show doing the color commentary for BASS.

It was a tear jerker for sure.

Both he and Tommy Sanders were having a hard time maintaining

their composure which is totally understandable.

I was too.

I'll miss Z and there is No One who can replace what he brought to those shows.

This has been a season of great change.. Zona is a special guy that I truly enjoyed. I often watch/ have watched him on the tube.

I like Zona, Mercer though...uggh. I usually mute the broadcast when he is on.
