  • I love those. I break open one pack a year.

  • I personally love these threads because I know what to look for at lil local shops with random stuff!   Gotta cast my vote for the Mann's Baby -1 and the Jelly Worms.  I'll never not buy tho

  • Yall laugh if you want to...but I really miss "The Flying Lure". My and my father did some damage with these in black back in the day. I know you can kinda replicate it with a tube rigged backwards bu

I used to get the Riverside brand of soft plastics. They made some good stuff. Long gone now.

I miss the riverside stuff. I believe they got bought up by yum. I use yum also and they are affordable, but riverside really fit the budget of a 12 year old mowing lawns.

I miss the Berkley havoc line also. Budget friendly.

Although pricy in its day, I miss the terminator titanium spinnerbaits.

7 inch Senko in June bug.  June bug is one of the most popular colors for soft plastics, but I can't find them in the 7 inch size.  Maybe some place other than TW has them I don't know.  I ran out last year and now I use black and blue.  They work well but I always wonder if the June bug would work better.

And your mexican bass can certainly entertain a 10" stick bait...

What I miss is the Sebile magic swimmer soft bait.  The 5" and 7" were magic post spawn baits on my water.

Anyone has a Jackal DD79 jerkbaits in natural colors they want to trade?

Allen

Ditto Gatortail worms.  I know, I know, Zoom makes a G-tail but the colors are different and the tail doesn't "thump" like the original.

The Rapala DT Flat series.

Berkley remade the Sebile Magic Swimmers, but sadly only the hard bait version. I know its not the soft one you miss but theres looks exactly alike. This may or may not be helpful to you.

I did see that, thanks man.  It's more of a recent nostalgia, I was just getting back into fishing 12-13 years ago and twitching those soft swimmers in the early growth weeds got me off my senko addiction and started my newfound tackle addiction instead.  It was also the first "big bait" I ever caught with.  On a medium spinning rod. :)

Ironically I just bought a Berkeley Magic Swimmer the other day but had never heard of the OG before.    I didn't learn it was a soft bait until this thread.   Now I want the soft version lol.    Little pricey though at $15.

I immediately caught fish on it, think I caught 5-6 fish on with a nice 3lb+.   Very cool bait, and it's one of those baits that seems to shine best when fish are actively feeding.    It's a very aggressive bait on any kind of retrieve except a slow steady retrieve.    Jerking the thing produced most of those fish, if not all of them.   It kind of blows out when you jerk it but it certainly triggered the fish.

The Rapala DT Flat series.

Have a couple silver and hot mustard in the box.

Nice those are two of the better colors. I have 4 left and throw them very carefully

Seems like half my tackle and I have a ton.....lures and plastics are discontinued. 4-5 years without buying much new stuff will do that I guess.....I was always into older lures from when I was young but I notice you don't see much of the Bagley's true balsa cranks and Rapala Flats, Thugs, squarebills from Rapala, Sebile, and lots of plastics.

Glad I have a ton of xcalibur stuff...I see these one knockers are going for alot on Ebay. I used to work at a liquidator and must have 3 dozen lipless cranks, Squarebills, Evers Jerkbaits, poppers etc....I would imagine the booyah version work just fine. Is the red one knocker 25 size that good?

I was just throwing the Storm Subwart in a pond at lunch yesterday. I have a few in the chart belly dark back color. Can't say I have ever done great with them. Then again, never have much success with wake baits or super shallow divers unless jerkbait bomber long a or Rapala original minnow style.

I have a ton of plastics in packages and out of some of the baits mentioned. I plan on going through them and posting a bunch for sale. I need to simplify my stuff, have way to much, not letting the bait monkey get me this time, causes to much stress when packing for the day. I throw the same 10 baits or lures, yet bring 100x more than necessary and waste time on water. Need to let those days go. Don't need 40 Hollow body frogs or more in the boat....I am likely throwing the Spro popping frog or live target 55 size. Black or white.

Bill Dance dancin’ eel. Bass and pike absolutely inhaled that thing! And of all things, my biggest brook trout was caught on it!

Man! I remember seeing Bill Dance toss them on his show many moons ago!

Terry Scroggins has the molds for Bobby’s worms. He makes some for himself I’ve heard and hopefully he will start making some to sell to the public.

Terminator titanium spinnerbaits!!!

I only have 2 left. Not sure why they quit making them. ☹️ I’m sure it was some changing of ownership that lead to it shutting down.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but Mann’s Auger Dog I believed it was called. A 7” lizard in black. That thing was absolutely a pre spawn bass slayer.
