Did the Spotsticker brand buy sob/mini-me?  Was just looking at them on TW.  I remember them from 20yrs ago or so...just never bought one.

I am not sure.  SOB still has a website but the original guy died several years ago and I heard they are not the same.

I think Spotsticker at least used the same small profile, weight along hook shank style as the originals.

  • I love those. I break open one pack a year.

  • I personally love these threads because I know what to look for at lil local shops with random stuff!   Gotta cast my vote for the Mann's Baby -1 and the Jelly Worms.  I'll never not buy tho

  • Yall laugh if you want to...but I really miss "The Flying Lure". My and my father did some damage with these in black back in the day. I know you can kinda replicate it with a tube rigged backwards bu

As a young lad I liked the Lazy Ike lure. I caught a northern pike on it and it broke off. Then later in the day while walking the bank, I seen the pike with my lure hooked on the side of its mouth.

Also, like the Bandit Footloose lure.

Excalibur Spit'n Image

Terminator Titanium spinnerbaits

Rattlesnake 4" mini worms

I just got some of the USbaitCo worms that are similar to the rattlesnake worms, but they are smaller. Not sure how they'll do yet but I have high hopes.

I still have 2 of the Spit'n Image, several of the Terminator Titanium spinnerbaits, 2 or 3 colors of the Rattlesnake 4" worms;  I hoard those worms.

Had to replace the skirts on these 20yr old spinnerbaits.  They have a unique swinging hook, but weren't around long.  Can you name it?

*These are Tru-Tungsten spinnerbaits.  Was such a dominant brand for a couple/few years; I was surprised it didn't last.

There was a soft plastic lipless crankbait that Mann's used to make. That thing was money.

Anyone know the name of it??

Did you ever find the answer to this?

No. That thing was fantastic though. Smaller than a standard lipless, and had a tail and maybe one treble hook.

Megabass's Z-Crank X's.

The particular coffin lip shape and buoyancy allowed them to continue to swim relatively well even when the lip got partially fouled up with grass/scum. Made it much easier for me to rip them through grass, as the strike would often come right as I yanked them out of the grass edge, as long as the crank still ran true and swam/wiggled.

They also just deflected off cover really well.

Bagley DB3 Dredge - quite possibly the GOAT of deep cranks.

BPS Tornado spinnerbait - my favorite search bait. Could keep the rod tip up and bulge the surface like a buzzbait, lower the tip and slow roll it. Easy way to determine what kind of bite we were on for the day.

Just found a nice batch of them on Ebay!!😁

Just scored 4 Rogers Big Jims on ebay at a decent price. 18 dollars shipping included. These lures in the small size, have caught more 4lb plus bass for me than any other crankbait. They dont have a lot of action which is why I think they work so well. They hunt and nobody throws them .

I had two in a sunfish pattern that I found at an antique store. I lost one in a tree .
