It was directed at Carter. Prescott did it with purpose and intent.  And then he got in Carter's face. It wasn't just spitting. There's a difference.

He'll get fined by the NFL.

@Glenn I sure hope you’re right but I’m really starting to lose faith in how the NFL decides who gets punished regarding fines and especially penalties. Take tonight’s game for instance with the ultimate instigator/💩starter Travis Kelce, a player who is going to be in the Hall Of Fame and doesn’t need to act like an 🤔….but gets away with it year after year which I personally can’t stand.  And as far as I’m concerned Travis Kelce has been getting away with that behavior way longer than any other player in my humble opinion. I realize the NFL had to evolve before someone got killed due to many factors but I personally would love to see any of today’s 💩stirrers try that with an old school player such as Dick Butkus or Jack Lambert or one of my personal favorites Mark Gastineau let alone Lawrence Taylor or God Forbid Lyle Alzado. I welcome any and all opinions on my rant.

Some players are good at baiting opponents and getting under their skin. Kelce is one of those players. Has been for years.

That being said he will probably go down as the best tight end of all time and has Super Bowls to go with it.

The NHL has a lot of players who are especially good at inciting opponents into penalties. I realize these are violent, contact sports so it’s difficult to keep emotions in check. Responding usually only inhibits your teams ability to win. Better to beat the other team where it hurts most: on the scoreboard.

I was a football referee, baseball umpire, and hockey referee for many years through my college years. I was probably more lenient on this behavior than most. Once it crossed a dotted line, I removed players/coaches from the game. Especially if they verbally directed their anger at me.

@gim I understand and appreciate your response, my thought process is the instigator’s never get punished hence why they continue to do it without fear of punishment by either the league or another player which is my point, I will be shocked if anything happens to Dak Prescott. I will add to your point I realize the refs know what’s going on and let it slide but again they never let it slide when the agitators get the taste knocked out of their mouth so to speak.

@Eric 26

OK, You asked

Kelce’s notoriety is mostly because of his brother and his HOF credentials along with being the only TE with above average talent on a dynasty team, while at the same time having a calculated very public relationship with today’s most popular singer doesn’t hurt either.

But to me is not a HOF player.
I know everyone will disagree and that ok.

Anyway, above them all you listed and probably more Butkus would have ripped his face off on the 50 and just walked away.

@Mike L And this is the point I’m trying to make, I feel like gim  stated it pretty well being a ref he knew it was happening but yet couldn’t or didn’t allow the retaliation without flagging the person being instigated which is why I couldn’t agree more with your comment on Butkus 😉 @gim please don’t take my above comment personally as I have zero ideas how you handled the situation at hand other than your description.

Go Bills!

Let’s go @Darren.!

What the H-E-Double hockey sticks is going on with the O?!

First drive was an anomaly. Horrible play calling ever since.

King Henry running over us like a bull dozer. Sigh.

Only the first game. Only the first game. Breathe. I did not

expect this to be a walk in the park. First game. Relax, D.

It looks like Baltimore has 18 people on defense. They’re everywhere

Derek Henry is just running free all over creation

He’s a freight train that’s for sure.

That poor spot followed by Dawkins hold really hurt.

You don’t see many NFL games that high scoring. Baltimore wanted in on some of that Swiss cheese action too. Think they thought they had it won and started playing more zone? Bills took advantage, I didn’t get to see that rookie tight end bobbling catch but I heard it on the radio

The NFL is nothing like it used to be, all those players you listed, I saw play excepting DB & they were all intense & mean & talented football players, my personal favorite two are Lambert & LT..

Mike Singletary & Brian Urlacher were solid for Chicago for many years.

Kelce is so overrated it’s sickening but to top it off.. well you know 😂

I’m so tired. It took me forever to get to sleep after that.

I would have stayed up if I didn't have to get up for work

today. My eldest son was so stoked with the game that he

called me at 11:40 to wake me up and tell me what happened.

I went to bed when it was 40-25. I'll admit, I didn't think it

would be a W. And had I stayed up, I may have needed a

defibrillator.  Super happy with the result, needless to say.

  • Super User

I stayed up for it. Appeared about half the stadium left and missed an epic comeback.

I personally think the Ravens and Bills are the two best teams in the AFC. I’m sure Kansas City might disagree with that.

  • Super User

Not sure if anyone is watching MNF but the Vikings decided to move on from a 14-3 quarterback for a first round pick coming off two major knee surgeries and it's looking like a disastrous decision.

McCarthy looks like a deer in the headlights.  Could be a long season.

Bring in Carson Wentz I say

  • Super User

It's crazy how top draft picks are forced into the starter rolls instead of learning behind veterans.

Both QB's look like Dak 😀....... sorry.
