Took a box of red worms and went fishing from the dock yesterday and caught a tiny channel cat.  Then I took the boat only on the trolling motor and caught a couple of small, 10-12" LM.  Spent a couple of hours on a nice Saturday afternoon.  Bringing my worm back to the boat I had a follow and got splashed by a nice bass right next to the boat.

I was thinking of her too. Hopefully all is well. 

My right eye is healing ahead of schedule, which is why the doc changed her mind and let me fish again, but come Wednesday, I'll be landlocked again as the team will do my second eye. I'll likely sleep a lot on Wednesday, but the bandages will come off Thursday morning and hopefully I'll see clearly from both eyes. Meanwhile, the kid and I are going fishing tomorrow morning.

I bet everything looks clearer and brighter to you already;  I'm getting my second eye done tomorrow and actually looking forward to it.  Too hot here to fish much anyway.  Best wishes to you.
