I use the bandit 100. It has a distict wobble that other squarebills do not. I don't "prefer" it. But I use it for a change when they have seen a lot of KVD1.5s.

It seems to work well at the river spot I fish. It comes through turbid water well, and the smallmouth seem to like its action better than some other squarebills.

Love the Bandit 100. Probably been using them since they came out. I use them them because they are cheep and they catch fish!!! They first came out in my state, Mississippi, I think it was in Sardis.

I throw the 200 quite a bit. If your looking for a wart/rock crawler alternative the 3xd or the Lucky craft 1.5 dd are good choices.

I have a Bandit flat sided squarebill that works great. Pretty sure they don't sell it anymore.

I've been thinning out my crankbait inventory and I'll admit, Bandits were the first to go. Nothing against the quality of the baits, they just did a poor job of producing.

I bought my first Bandit 100 in 1985 or so. There was a coupon offer of 5 for $9.99 and have had some in the boat ever since.  The first were Tennessee Shad color.  If I’m picking a bait over a Wiggle Wart or Rock Crawler, it’s going to be a Norman’s Deep Little N.

The 200 has been a staple for

me for close to two decades…Ive never looked up the color

names, but any of the crawfish patterns with brown have been killers. From pounding wood laydowns for largemouth to boulder riddled flats for smallmouths.

Bandit 100 is the second best crankbait I own.  I like the 100, 200, and 300 in craw or minnows patterns for river smallmouth.  This crankbait has been working for me for 20 plus years.

If I could only carry 5 crankbaits.

Something about the 100 and 200 Bandit, they're just some of the best fish catching crankbaits I've owned. I don't know about the new ones, but I have several that are 10+ years old and covered in scratches from being eaten so many times. It seems like they really shine when everyone else is catching on cranks and the fish are seeing lots of other baits. Nobody is fishing Bandits anymore and they're just a little smaller and not as loud. Tennessee Shad, Lousiana Shad, Mistake, Firetiger, a few of the craw patterns, they've all got a place in my crankbait box.
