Absolutely! But I can walk there….. 😂

One thing that will make weights much higher this go ‘round: I believe (not 100% sure) that the limit is now 15” for black bass. Previously all smallies had to be 18” and nobody knew what to do about meanmouth .

I will not be going this year. The price for traveling there is nearly double from the last time I went. Too rich for my blood.

Maybe if they scheduled it in a place where I could get a direct flight. Those multi-hop flights are just way too expensive now. I don't know how people do it.

Well, the competitors are now met with crappy conditions of course. It was warm and sunny trend for about two weeks straight. 80 degrees yesterday. Storms blew in at sunset, it snowed, and every tributary I’ve seen today is Willy wonka chocolate factory. I’d go to Norris if I was going fishing! I’m sure they will still catch fish but it could have been a lot better

It's looking pretty good so far but I will say, if BASS wanted to quell the FFS hate talk, this tournament is already proving to just fan the flames.

Redwine caught a 10 pounder in practice. I'll be there on saturday.

Some frost on the dock at takeoff. All the anglers front deck carpet had frost lining up before takeoff

John cox!

Thought I heard them say 2/3 of the field is on tellico, that’s where my infamously famous slow lakehouse remodel is ongoing . Did demo again Sunday 😂

Earlier, Laker Howell landed a three lber too agressively. He boat flipped it on one side and it ejected on the other side.

I’ll just wait till weigh in is done and check it out. Looks like several guys didn’t limit.

I can tell I don’t pay too much attention anymore, lots of names I don’t recognize 🙄

For fantasy fishing, instead of guessing the weight we should guess how long it takes to do weigh in.

Twas much quicker than last year, I imagine from not having to drive an hour from boat ramp to Tulsa

Gut says the Fisher kid, heart says Lowen or Welcher

Gonna leave the house here around 8 after I get my crap packed. Gonna swing by my dad's house up in KY after I finish there today. Should be fun. I still think Fisher is gonna take it but something is telling me that Dylan Nutt kid is gonna be a sleeper.

There were strong winds yesterday but it didn’t seem to affect the competitors at all, somehow they love that stuff. What was pretty wild that we noticed was the water color. It was stained at takeoff from Wednesday night storms but not bad. By the afternoon, the water at takeoff was ultra brown coming down from the mountain runoff. Looks like similar conditions today according to the deep dive app for Ft loudon. Upper end and little river arm, as well as some major creeks, are muddy. The lower end main channel is better but slowly staining from the current moving through

The interesting part about tellico, where a majority of the leading competitors seemed to fish yesterday, it the duality of reservoir. The little TN river arm (coming from chilhowee lake) almost always stays clear regardless of rainfall amounts. It is insulated from several tall dams upstream holding back water. The Tellico River arm (southwest side) is much muddier because there are no dams on that river. Several anglers like muddy water, several like clear so keep an eye out for those differences.

The current is much more of a consensus, everyone seems to love that across the board. The Wednesday night rainfall dump has the flood gates open in lenoir city again, I’ve never heard anyone say that hurts the fishing. Look for some big bags today!!!

Hope everyone is ready to speak Easton Fothergill. These wins often come in twos and he is 100% locked in.

Dylan wins everything on pickwick, same river I guess

Said he’s got 26.5 , that bag is unheard of here. One for the ages

2 fish over 6 lbs, 1 over 5 lbs and 2 more at 4-4.

There's video of him catching a 4-3 smallmouth and a 4-1 smallmouth which I guess he culled.

That's crazy!
