I missed Ebare weighing in. Was that big fish a smallmouth or a meanmouth?

On TV it looked like a meanmouth to me.

I never seen a meanmouth but this fish was the color of a smallmouth , with the makings of a largemouth.

It looked like a smallmouth with stripe down the middle like a largemouth.

I tried to watch the weigh in but couldn’t stand listening to Mercer.

I tried watching it yesterday, but the repetitive proselytizing turned me off.

The bassmaster site already has Nutt listed as the winner.

^ With the BassTrack lead he's got with almost 1/2 the day over....do you blame them?

Absolutely,Nobody did it like Ray . The guy rode out on an elephant one time . Kinda hard to top. Miss the old FLW weigh ins too. Those were always great to watch. Not so much nowadays

Wesley Gore just landed a four to five lb bass and his spinnerbait broke in half. When that happens to me , I just get the blades back.

Bass Nation took em all to school. Congrats young man

The classic is no longer the culmination of a great career, it’s the beginning of one.

The young guns getting it done. Nice to see The Nation represent!

Congratulations to Tennessee’s Dylan Nutt!!! Love seeing an angler from the Federation win.

Well that was more fun that I can stand! Sitting here at work wishing it was still going

Amazing event. Your fishery really showed up! People will remember this one.

Just got home from the classic. Met up with VAFolks14 at the expo and we hung out and had lunch on day 2. Overall the expo was really good. Here are some pics I took from the one day I spent there.

This was the first classic I've attended and certainly don't think it'll be the last. I had an absolute blast and it was great meeting up with @IYAOYAS and spending an afternoon talking bass fishing. I think its truly incredible how accessible and approachable the titans of this sport are. The fact that I was able to walk right up to and have a quick conversation with guys like KVD, Rick Clunn, Randy Howell, Ike, etc. is something that I find incredibly unique to this industry. I'm even proud to say I managed to stay within my set budget at the expo! Overall, I'd give my Classic experience a 10/10 and I'm already looking at making plans for Greenville in 2027.

I live just 35 minutes away from Greenville. Maybe come early(or stay late) and we can get on the water before the tourney starts.
