Remembering Our BassResource Family

Over the years, BassResource has been blessed with members who became much more than names on a screen. They were daily voices in our community, generous with their knowledge, quick to help others, and a big part of what made these forums feel like home. Some were top contributors. Some were steady, familiar friends. All of them left a lasting mark on this community.

This thread is dedicated to honoring and remembering those members who have passed away. As time goes on, we will continue to update it so their contributions, kindness, humor, and friendship are not forgotten. They helped shape BassResource into what it is today, and they are deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing them.

So many names on there that I miss seeing their daily posts. May they rest in peace and their loved ones find comfort knowing they were so appreciated for their time with us.

life is so short. I also thank everyone who has passed for their contributions and wealth of knowledge they shared on these forums.

Rest in peace.

Several of these guys I hadn’t know had passed. I remember their posts fondly.

@SirSnookalot was perhaps the most avid fisher among us. I believe he claimed to fish over 350 days a year!

@Russ E was not a frequent contributer to the regular forums but posted often in the local forums in the KC Area Thread that use to be so active. He passed a year or two ago rather suddenly.

A lot of knowledge they left for us here, thankfully. I learned a lot from

them over the years. Wish there was more time. RIP, legends.
