All my reels weight less than 6.4oz, so the Exsence feels way too heavy for me.

The G. Loomis is the NRX 803C (6'8"), which I got from Tackle Warehouse when they were on sale. I wish they had the blue ones on sale though lol

Lol I'm just the opposite, I have searched the whole country for the green ones. So far I have purchased 14 of them. I sold the cpl blue ones I had. The green ones are starting to get some good money since being discontinued.

You would have to rip my Conquest 101/ GLX 785 CBR out of my dead lifeless hands.  I actually like it better than my '13 Met/NRX 803c setup.

I'm all in on this learning how to drop shot thing now. My new Okuma RTX 25 showed up Wednesday. Paired with a 7' 3" ML/F Ethos Micro and spooled up with 10lb braid. Took it out Friday and caught over 20 fish with it. Honestly more drop shot fish in a single day than I normally catch in a season. Reel felt really nice.

Picked up this 6'9 ml villian at bass pro for $79!Normally don't do Abu but I couldn't help myself.Little stiffer than i'd prefer for a ml but I won't complain.Should be a decent small jerkbait/popper rod.Just gotta throw an mgx on her now!

I purchased a few of those ml villains as well.  Really like the blank...more responsive and sensitive than I thought it would be. I wish the handle wasn't so skinny though.  

@Bluebasser86 I've been fishing that reel for a couple of years now. For $75 it's tough to beat. It's super light and has a nice drag. Okuma has great cs too should you ever need it.

It feels really nice and you're right about it being really light. I like the big handle knob on it too. I'm guilty of being afraid to wander outside the box for reels but I have several Okuma baitfeeders I use for catfishing that have been solid reels. Now I have 2 of their reels for bass and I really enjoy them so far and they have great options in all price ranges.

Decided to try a gold handle instead of the carbon fiber one on my Conquest.  The stock handle was WAY too short.  When I got it I had a spare 95mm DIY carbon handle I threw on there with the factory knobs.  I decided I wanted to see how the gold looked.  I ordered an Avail 100mm handle and RCS cork knobs.  I think I like it better?  Which one do you guys think looks better?

the gold, and it's not even close.  and the cork knobs look better too....  truly not even close to me.

The gold looks great, but is the 100mm too long? And oh yeah, I NEED ONE OF THOSE REELS IN MY LIFE!!!

Solid. Replace that clutch with the gold Hedgehog one. *Maybe* silver knob cabs.

I would leave the gold handle on it and replace the cork Daiwa RCS knobs with the stock Shimano knobs.

That gold handle is sweet!  I need one for my CQ.
