Wow, I remember when

Featured Replies

I was just looking around and noticed there are 13,411 members on here now. I remember when we were excited when we hit 500 then the 1,000 mark.

It is just amazing how much this site has grown over the years.

I actually started coming here long before we had this style of forums.

This has been a great site, learned a lot and no one has gotten aggravated with my dumb newbie questions. Just bought my first boat and have a lot of questions. Hopefully soon get to the point I can provide some reasonable answers to others questions.

I hear you loud and clear. I've only been here since June 2006, and this place has exploded.

Words can't describe how much Glenn, the mod, all of the members and sponsors contribute to this place.

Yea JT, Just when Hookem and his Pablam breathed, pampers wearing crew decended upon us

JT, it is a pleasure to be able to go to an Internet site that has many individuals who share your passion and love of one topic: bass fishing.

No cussing; no dirty jokes; a few disagreements; and lots and lots of fantastic information.

I have personally met a number of guys on the Forum and all have been great guys. I have also seen a number of guys come and go; grow up; join the military; get married; have babies; change jobs; help with other "non-fishing" projects; help with hard times; and share their knowledge and experiences with us.

Glenn and his wife have put together a really nice place to escape today's life pressures and learn a few things at the same time.

And having great guys like you to help keep us up to date and straight adds to the enjoyment of this site.

Happy New Year and Tight Lines!

I've only been around here for about 2 years.  In that time I have learned a ton all while just chatting with others who are equally obsessed with bass fishing. It's also a great way to pass some time on weekdays when I can't be out on the boat. :)

Is that new math ?

I don’t think so.  I googled the population of the US and divided it by 65,000.

This place is the best of the best - period.

I love this forum.  It's just dysfunctional enough to be fun and the experience shared has helped a bunch of anglers including me.  I do miss that 13 year old kid who was a self appointed industry expert and his dad bought him everything. He was entertaining like Verruca in Willie Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. I guess attempts to temper his delivery failed.

I remember when... I first joined! Seems like just yesterday although its been almost 7 years! Holy Guacamole does time fly when your having fun. This site has saved my sanity in the winter and we don't have any hard water! I work in a very seasonal industry and this site has helped me get through many a slow day. Cheers and thanks!

Yet I live in a county of over 3 million people and I don't think we have a dozen members.  There are small towns throughout the south with populations in the hundreds who have more members than we do ?

I'm a new member and love the forum.

check it every day.

BassResourse is by far the best bass fishing forum I have visited. I am a member of several fishing forums for many years and no bass fishing forum comes close to this one. There is currently 65,052 members on this forum and I will not be surprised if this forum passes 70,000 in the near future.

I met and went fishing with someone from the other side of the globe off this site. What can be more cool than that. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought something like this could happen.

Love this site especially due to the zero garbage

I joined over 10 years ago. I’m kind of a big deal

I joined 2 1/2 years ago and I am nobody.

This is a great site. Very seldom ever sit down at night without my laptop opened to bass resource.

Now here is an old thread that is worth resurrecting!  I joined in 2008, lurker from around 2005, back when the forum had that old, clunky interface.  It's amazing to see what this has become, and be a part of it.  I say thank you to all the members that contribute!
