  1. I ordered the #6 and #10 as well. Should be good to go for a couple years. I especially like the #6 on my spinning reels. I have found the #10 to be more than enough line for the lakes I fish. Great deal. Thanks so much for passing it on Bass Hunter.
  2. Outstanding. you have truly captured nature's beauty.
  3. Thanks for the help. I see they also have a parts sizing chart to help. It looks like size 1 would be comparable to what is on most of my cranks. Thanks again.
  4. I have to replace some split rings on some rapala DT6 and other various crankbaits including some smithwick rogues. What are the most common sizes of split rings to use? I need to buy some and plan on buying a couple different sizes, but don't know which ones to get. The local tackle shop has them in 10 paks, but they are 3.29. What do you recommend? Thanks
  5. Nice potato, or is that potatoe? Just wondering, but is that also "stock"? and if it is an idaho, is that considered high-end? ;D ;D
  6. Thanks for the info deaknh03. About how long are the videos?

  14. Randy Shannon did everything right, except win enough games. His team got good grades, went to class, stayed out of trouble, and hopefully, grew as young men. I don't agree with the authoritative figure, he laid down the law, and separated his teams from SOME of the previous "thugs" that he rightfully did not want around his program. I think he was a much better person than a coach, unfortunately, and that gets you fired.
  15. If you don't know what it is that you would be happier doing, and it sounds like you do not, FINISH your degree. You will be able to get out into the world and do many things with that degree. With that degree, many doors will open for you, and you may end up doing something completely different, but the degree is a must. It is normal to have to force yourself to study. I recently went back to school at 45, and even though I thoroughly enjoy my current coursework, I still have to at times make myself study. Congratulations on your induction into the Honor Society.
  16. I feel for you and your Mom and Dad. I have had to put down a little dog after 18 years... I understand how much it hurts.
  17. Congratulations on the 2 new set-ups. I hope you will give us a report after you have used them a bit. Also, kudos to Abu Garcia and you as well for supporting the Scouts.
  18. Amen. I am 47 and still address my remaining Uncles as just that...Uncle. I think it is a matter of respect...and not just for them, but from me.
  19. I have a couple sarahas, a couple symetres, and a couple saros. while i really like all three, the saros is in a different class. It is much smoother and the drag seems much smoother as well. However, all three handle fish with no problems, and at nearly half the price, the sahara is a fine reel. If I had to choose just one, it would be the saros, and the saros also comes with an extra spool. I have seen them for right around 100 bucks, same price as symetre.
