BIA rating is there for a reason. Safety. If you exceed that limit and get pulled over by Admiral Law, you will get a ticket. Although these ratings are like ladder ratings, c.y.a. in court. Funny, my 16' deep v is rated for 760#, looking at a z20' nitro is rated for 575#....is my boat safer for 3 adults/gear ? Probabally not.

Yes they are a good cold water bait. I have a few, but they don't get wet. I would rather use bladebaits. Hopefully someone will chime in...

On sunny days with no wind I like to fish them on top of weeds that are 1 - 4 ' of water. Sorta like a finesse spinnerbait. Also great "countdown " lure.

Saw it today @ the boat/fishing show (Detroit), $16500. (!) Never looked at the price of a non-fishing one. Would work for drift fishing. Don't forget the side planer board rigging stuff for muskies..

My problem (besides sometimes jealousy), is that I don't have enough rigs and a bigger boat to house them. I am pretty happy (and gratefull) with what I do have....

If you don't know what line is on what rod, you have too many rods in my opinion. I only have a dozen rigs in which only 8 make the boat (no room for more.) And usually only 5 make it on the deck. I don't fish tourneys so I don't mind taking 1 minute to retie/change baits. 16 rods on the front deck looks (to me) like you don't have a clue....

I have a few yo zuri baits...this will not be one of them.

How about a lure that when you twist the line tie it changes color schemes? (perch to shad to craw, etc.) Or a jerkbait that adjusts from 3.5" to 6" long (match the hatch)...Or a crank that has rattles that could be silenced when needed...
