I use a swivel between my braid and leader for senko/wacky/fluke fishing.

You just have to reach down in that hogs' throat and pull yourself out some bacon! (mr. bill said something like that)...

I use it all year (for me-apr to nov), and almost every outing. I use 12#braid to a swivel, then my leader is 6# ice braid. I use a size 1 or 2 ewg hook with a hitch-hiker attached to the bend. After 5 yrs of fishing the d/s, this is what works the best for me.

I forgot about the sensor...i thought he just didn't want to say it. Speaking of Cotton Cordell's lures..does anybody have their "Loud Mouth" surface lure of the mid 70's? I have 2 (brown and green perch) in what looks like about 3/4 oz. It's kinda like a cross between a hula popper shape with a narrowed jitterbug face (mouth), and a prop on the back. It has 3 trebles- 1 on back, and 2 mounted towards the front, parallel. It's WILD, man! I have a bunch of C.C.'s lures from the late 60's - 70's...about 20 spots (2 one knockers and 2 floaters i still use) a few bayou boogies, a few crabs, etc. Cool baits in a red and clear hard plastic box. later.. I hear you Ghoti. I guess black or methiolate are 2 colors i won't buy. White (or mostly white) is my plastic color of choice.

I have nothing against anyone who wishes to wear ink, unless they want me to look at it. I am coming around though. Used to think "look at that jackas", now i don't even look. (or think) I would be very proud to be the only american without a tat.

I use the knockoffs for wacky-jiggin only. I will try them on a carolina rig this year...

What goes in the boat depends on time of year. I use an old Plano Magnum (double-sided) to carry my hard baits.(it will hold about 80) I also use a tool tote that i use on the deck that holds about a dozen hardbaits,spinrb8s, etc. that i plan on using. Probabally 75% stays at home....

Thursday for me. I could go any day, but i don't like the big crowds on the weekend.

Who could hate the AFC West?

The Lions deserved to lose that game. Yes, bad calls for both teams, but that is no excuse. The Lions biggest problem for the last month or so is they are not getting pressure on the qb, which in turn hurts their banged-up secondary. ANY qb in this league can have a good day. I don't expect a win against the Saints, but i don't expect a loss either. Which team will win? We'll see. Grimlin, you can hate if you want to.. his car accident, and his explanation of it, is the one thing that bothered me more than his suspension. Hopefully he will mess with the wrong dude AND GET KILLED? I don't understand? Did he pee in your Cherios? Congrats to all the teams in the playoffs..and may the best team win..(sorry Packerfan, it won't be you.) later.....

Merry Christmas to one and all. I got my present early...a Lions victory!!! The coolest part of yesterdays game was the victory lap the team made after the game, with coach leading the way. I slapped 5 and patted shoulder pads and helmets of every player as they walked around the entire field. AWESOME!!! If you want to see what i look like, go to the Detroit Free Press and look at picture 51 (of 57). Thats my wife slapping 5 with Matthew Stafford,and i'm on her right (with Stafford jersey). After 31 years of season tickets, and sooo many lean years (incl. 0-16), we finally have a team to be proud of.

Didn't see it yet, but i will tonite. As far as officiating goes...i think they try to do the best job they can. Pro football IS A VERY FAST GAME, and penalties occur on every play. If they could see in slow motion and see through bodies with 360 degree vision, they might get it right. And they keep adding new rules that are very hard to officiate. Like all sports, the stars get a little bit of special attention, thats the way it has always been, and always will be. Doesn't mean we have to like it though....
