Sometimes the flash of chatterbaits do seem to be too much, and the scrounger/small fluke worked well for me last year. Just picked up 2- 5 pks. (unpainted) for 4.59 each. Have to use glue on their "keeper" though...

Before i started making my own spinnerbaits (closed eye) i would wrap the "r" with some fine wire about 6 times and then solder it. I hate "r" bends....

If you buy a bps worm binder, buy a couple extra packs of replacement pages while at it . They may change design by the time your original bags get wore out.

I too have wondered about flat vs. glossy. The glossy looks great to we humans, but would a flat finish appeal a little more to the bass? If any devcon 2ton guys out there that tried to"flatten" their topcoats please chime-in with your results and procedures..thanks

You have alot of options here, and how you fish would play a major part. First of all, i think 1- $300 unit is better than 2- $150 units. If you have/fish from a bow mounted trolling motor, that's where i would mount the transducer. It's where you spend the most of your day, and with a better sonar, it will help you fish more efficiently. With lake maps available for public lakes (in mi. anyways) you can still guesstimate the areas you want to fish, put the motor down, turn on the sonar and get to catching. That's how i would do it.

I'd like to know why there is a 1a and a 1b when clearly there are 5 choices. Why not just go with 1 thru 5? I'm going with 4b: the way Creed fishes on the Office.....

Excellent point Rhino with the having to qualify to make the race. I quit being a fan when i couldn't identify the car make from a side veiw. I still watch some of most races, but could care less how the points are distributed, or who wins the championship. I guess i don't know enough of the sport to question you as to exactly how Nascar slapped you in the face and abandoned those who built the sport. (?)

My problem with the show was me, actually. I really only wanted to buy some smaller "chatterbait" - type blades, and some variation of white french fries. And was hoping to find some "basement" handpours. The mrs. wanted to see the animals, the cages were there, but the critters were not. If i was going to buy a boat, or rod , or a reel....maybe i would have loved it.

I went opening nite, and was a little disappointed. Pretty much the same as last year, maybe a little less. If i didn't jones so bad i probabally would just quit going.
