  1. 18.95? thats a BIG reel!
  2. If it aint a Chevy, Ford is the next best thing. I don't like the camo.. but it looks good on that truck. I hope your black wheels can hide that god-awful ford brake dust.
  3. I remember seeing Tuffy boats advertised in Fishing Facts magazine back in the 70's. Other than that , i have never seen one in person. Since they are glass, i would look them over REAL good for cracks and shoreline rub.
  4. c/b/f Trilene xl.
  5. Revo on a pflueger 7'6" medium (tube) flipping stick and 12# xl, throwing spin and crankbaits, worms, or jigs.
  6. I love that rod. I've had mine for about 8 years now. Mine is moderate also, but it has decent backbone. Like skunked said, use fine wire hooks and jigheads. Good rod for about any bait to a 1/2 oz. I use 8# xl with mine...
  7. Maybe for trolling with cranks, but is better suited for drifting 3-way live-bait rigs for walleyes.
  8. Yes, they do get the athletes. Just don't ask them how to spell student.

    I didn't get it either.
  10. That jig is sick. The trebles have a slight temp, but that jig is sick. I want a dozen.
  11. Looks interesting, for the price, i wouldn't care what it does in the water. It would just end up in the "museum".
  12. What, no fried okra or black-eyed peas?

  15. Yessir, that is a killer deal. no doubt. I should be so lucky...
  16. I bought a 1 oz. Hot Spot last month just for this purpose. Casts a mile, sinks fast, lotsa racket, easy to fish deep, good size (about 4"), but only spent about 15 minutes throwing it. So, the jury is still out and i need more time with it, but i think it's going to get me a big ol' bass or pike sometime soon. P.S.- you can hear those rattles 40 yards away for crying out loud! I may have to buy another and silence it, just in case.
  17. Thats what i learned to bassfish with almost 40 years ago. A size 2 sampo bb swivel and your ready for catchin'.
  18. The 44" pike i caught 2 years ago didn't have teeth longer than 3/4". Home "assembled" spinnerbait on 10# test line....
  19. You forgot step #1....remove old skirt. Step #2: roll band 2 times towards the shorter end. Step #3:skirt will be "stuck" together where band was originally, so you must seperate strands. Step #4: insert hook thru band (long end) and push up to "skirt lock". Step #5: adjust strands equally 360 degrees around band. Step #6: add mojo weight if needed and crimp tightly to hook shank. Step #7: add trailer hook Step #8:add "disc" of plastic or rubber (cut from paper-hole puncher)on main hook to the middle of the bend.
  20. Speak your mind, brother Mike!
  21. The differance is probabally less than 3" per turn, so no, it doesn't matter...
  22. I have caught both a 13" and a 19" lm on a perch colored Super Shad Rap. In Michigan. Try them.....
