  1. 2006 4Runner with a V8. 170K miles on it and still runs great. Rods go from back to front between seats if the kayak is on the roof; in the boat if towing the boat.
  2. Phil beat me to this - you can pop, walk, wake, or swim the OG Rapala minnow in any size. I use it from the smallest size up to a 6 in (ish) version. It works everywhere, but especially in tiny sizes. It is the 30-06 of lures.
  3. Because Tennessee’s 2nd loss is a total domination by South Carolina. Total. Domination. You can’t lose like that and expect to get back in. I relish USC getting demolished if they play UGA.
  4. I don’t think I’ve seen one smaller than the puppy. The physics at that point from the light weight would make it tough to get a good glide.
  5. Just donated - free bump for a good cause!
  6. Not sure you listened to the song or understood the lyrics- she’s talking about young women having body issues based on what is advertised as normal/hot/approved, and that normal was made up by a dude. It’s like Barbie being the ideal shape - a dude came up with that, not somebody’s mom. My wife wearing sweatpants has nothing to do with it, but it helps her fit more mashed taters.
  7. Only three of us so I’m doing a dry rubbed turkey breast (wrapped in bacon), green beans, mashed potatoes/gravy, sweet potato/acorn squash bisque, fried corn, and corn bread with apple turnovers a last mode for dessert. I make it all from scratch and it’s all gluten free for my wife.
  8. Yeah bud - I (sacrilegiously) put away more Beam and Cokes in college than I’m proud of…that’s not true, I was pretty proud of it at the time. You should’ve developed that skill set .
  9. We used to have some decent duck hunting on the Clinch very near Oak Ridge. It’s not West Tennessee/Arkansas, then then again you’re not living in West Tennessee/Arkansas so it’s a net positive. And there’s plenty of ducks on the TN River, you just have to scout a little.
  10. When you’re married, you see each other at your best and at your worst. Focusing on the former and giving grace for the latter is one of the tricks of any relationship.
  11. I’m married and have free time and money, I spend it all on my kid….???
  12. If the guides are cutting the line it’s not the line… you probably had no cushion on that short fluoro leader for the low stretch of the braid.
  13. I have the opposite experience as someone above as far as bringing a kid into the marriage. Not that we weren’t happy before but children are a different game, different level. You just survive infancy the first few years and then it’s like watching yourself learn things for the first time. I’ve been married almost 15 years to my best friend. We don’t always agree, but we have learned when to talk and when not to. There’s no perfect formula for everyone, but communication is the constant.
  14. Mammoth scat is the one true fuel…I still remember cooking ground sloth over that shtuff…
  15. Clemson has no business in that top four - I’d rather see LSU or two Big 10 teams Next weekend will be total chaos for sure though
  16. Tennessee‘a defense never got off the bus, and Rattler had the game of his life. Fun to watch for SC, not so much for me. Alas, I hope Hooker is ok; he’ll have some work on Sundays next year.
  17. Hey hey hey now - no need to come after our version of American English. Our food is better too
  18. Cut bait or chicken is fine - it more depends on where you’re fishing and what species of cats. Live or fresh cut for flatheads around cover/structure and cut or chicken around structure or bait for blues and channels.
  19. We didn’t have a dog for about two weeks each time one passes. It’s just a giant hole without one there. We have a couple cats too but they’re not the same. This is the latest - she’s got a lot of will…
  20. The Wilderness System cart that @A-Jay recommends is the best out there for anything longer than 100 yards. It’s a great cart.
  21. If you’re going to be doing a lot of driving where’s there’s pieces of metal, bring some tire slime, some plug kits l, and something to air them back up with. Working around New Orleans after Katrina we did it that way because it could be one, it could be all four but it was going to happen. There was stuff everywhere and you never knew what you were driving over.
  22. Can you get to them to drill them out?
  23. Sawzall, and about three-four Miller Lites should do it.
  24. So if you actually look, even with the dozen or so that caught fire due to once in a lifetime flooding from a hurricane, EVs catch fire about one tenth the amount that gasoline cars do even without a biblical storm. The drain on the grid is negligible and a significant percent would be charged at night, when the grid has more available capacity anyway. Not perfect, not completely developed to the level of gasoline engines, and not right for everyone, but let’s try to stick to facts.
  25. What ?!? You can’t fish out if that tiny orange thing?!?? love it!
