try a texas rigged senko or wacky, no weight keep your rod tip a few inches off the water and throw side arm. the first touch of the water should be 10-15' away for it to skip 10 times. This is a good place to start, then the skys the limit. this technique works great under overhanging branches in the summer where no one else fishes

I throw the DT6 all summer and fall in deep grass (10') in perch color This year I may switch the hooks though

If Tim Horton recommends his alterations it must be good. All my crankbaits have rattles, but on days when they don't like cranks I wonder too if its the rattles they dislike

got a tagged Striper in the Ct River a few years ago. I thought it was part of a contest and I would get thousands. However it was just a striper tracking program and I got an ugly hat. The fish had been caught before in the river and had origionated in North Carolina
