Freshwater vs. Inshore rods
What makes a freshwater blank, different than an inshore blank of the same specification on the blank? (i.e. Fast Action, Medium Power) I somehow have got the impression (and I can't recall from where) that the blanks might be different in some way. Or is it the components that may be different?

Brussel Sprouts - how to cook them?
I am one of those few, like a I read here that really like them just steamed with salt and pepper. Go the roasting route, add some shallots and oh my! I could eat them everyday.

Hawaii
My mother-in-law went every year since 1993 until the year she died in 2017. After my father-in-law stopped going, she started taking her kids and grand kids. My wife has been about six times and my kids have all been three or four times each. I never went... They all loved it every time. I should have gone at least once I guess.

Oakley vs Costa Sunglasses
My Costas, after a couple of years, had the nose piece fall apart. Now the ear pads need regluing. I bought a pair of Smith Optics with the bifocal lens. I love them. No need to keep readers on me for knot tying. It takes a bit of getting used to but, I like them. I use my Costas for driving...

What fuzz still grows I shave off everyday. I don't know if I would grow it even if I could. Funny thing, tonight, I cut the back of my head so bad, I had to call the wife and break out the ole' styptic pencil... (you young fellas google styptic pencil...go ahead...I'll wait...)

Did you know...
This is cool to me for one reason. I am on the lowish end of being tech savvy. (just ask my fishing partner...LOL) I have been here since BR's infancy. I am (if I am not mistaken) member 104 or 105. I can remember way back then, Instant Messaging with Glenn regarding very rudimentary improvements I thought would help. How awesomely far we've come technologically here at BR. Thanks Glenn

Frogg Toggs ?
I have a set of $300 Frabill bibs and jacket. By the time I am finished sweating inside, I may as well have not have worn them at all. (just kidding...sort of) They worked decently in April when it was 50 degrees and showers. I think I will look into that Starbrite.

BFS?
I've gone toward what I differentiate between what is true BFS and "bass BFS". I have a Scorpion BFS and a Stile. (thanks Puggz). 6'3"-6'8" light power, fast action, 1/16th oz. - 3/8th oz. lure weight range.

snakehead
Tn The gut sack is right behind the head, between gills . They are a filet from there to the tail. A favorite way to prepare here locally is to the cut the filets into nuggets, season and deep fry. Cook them any way you like to eat fish. Get past the way they look (beautiful fish) and give them a try.
