Toad skins stay in my boat as well. However for the money I would never buy them again. Cabelas or BPS carries a camo version of Herters rain gear, its quiet, soft, its NICE for the price. Plus then I can use it to hunt. I own both sets but wouldnt buy the Toad skins again cause they cant serve double duty, too loud.

Well ive been fishing since March so I have seen the progression of pre spawn to spawn. They are moving out or have moved out so I am looking for them in areas where they can come up shallow but have access to deep water. My fish finder doesnt tell me anything except there is fish or structure where I am. When I see big schools on the fish finder I look over the side, i see the perch and gills, I assume they are being followed by the bass and I throw bass baits that immitate them. Bass move all day long too... Shallow morning and roaming, im looking up on the docks, the points, the rip rap Cover or structure stacked up mid day, up under docks, in the wood, under bridges somewhere there is shade Evening could have them anywhere again I focus on things like channel bends, points, stump fields, lilly pads, under water humps... just like you read. I dont expect to find them on a bank where fifteen boats just pounded the bank all morning long either.

if your lake has gills aka "bream" i dont care what else is in that lake that is your main forage. Maybe, just maybe if you have a lake thats LOADED with shad, that will be your main forage. On a lake like erie your main forage will be the goby but 8 out of 10 lakes it will be a gill of some form. Go ahead and wait for 85 degree water to go deep. Im catching them in 30fw already and my water temp just hit 70.

I agree with rhino although it could be the tire also. My buddy mike took out a set in one year on his tracker before he sold it. It all depends on the rating. When I had my rocket, I was putting new tires on it every year, sometimes twice a year but I was riding it like I stole it.

Yes, I own the bionic and I really like it. Internally it reminds me of the older daiwas but its very smooth, has dual brakes. Id buy another if they offered one in a lower ratio, i need a new crankn reel. I use mine for throwing topwater, bought it and one of the walmart vendettas as a cheap dedicated setup and love them both. Wish I wouldve bought multiples of each. I paid $59 for mine on sale, at that price its an ABSOLUTE steal! Paired with a vendetta I bought for $29(walmart must be stupid) and for $90 I couldnt be happier. It ranks right up there with my other stuff although I cannot compare it to high end JDM reels, I dont think that would be fair. It casts every bit as well as my PQ but the PQ has it in the sideplate setup. The bionic has its side plate release right where your index finger hits.

Totally depends on sign of life for me. If I am seeing baitfish or bass themselves I will give it a good solid try. If I pull up and I dont mark anything or see anything to say... FISH... im moving.

I would think they could live pretty much anywhere. I was catching them in a foot of water the other day that was 75 degrees already. They run the creek behind my house also which at times is nothing more than stagnant pockets. Maybe Ill do a little video this year.

The frog I had sinking was a BPS kermit

I lost my grandfather a few years ago, he in my eyes was my father. He made me an outdoorsman. I can count on one hand the amount of time I spent with my real father... whats odd... it was my fathers father, not my mothers. I loved him and my grandmother like no other, the closest I can describe it at this point is like I love my son. They were married for almost 50 years, one month shy of 50 when my grandmother died. I spoke at her funeral, the only family member to speak and my grandfather told me how wonderful that was. When the day came for him I again was the only member of the family to speak and when I walked out a member of the funeral home stopped me to tell me that he had never heard anyone speak so highly of someone in all of his years and that my grandfather wouldve been honored. I really wish he couldve been around to see my son, both of them wouldve loved Carter to no end. Heck I get tears thinking about it just writing this.
